From the minute you pull in the drive you know you just hit the jack pot. This is a perfect quite get away. Everything is immaculate. The host goes beyond being a host he makes sure that not only you are taken care of and even told me I was welcome to park my vehicle in the attached garage that he had cleaned out for it to stay there. The wild life is abundant from quail to rabbits and all kinds of birds. I will be coming back to this place I assure you.

Quiet area but still close to nearby golf, restaurants & shops. Had all the amenities you could ask for. Would definitely book again.

Pinnacle Peak provides a superior stay

This excellent host provides a beautiful property that exceeds expectations and promises. The location is ideal for exploring a beautiful part of Arizona and the Casita is a wonderful retreat to rest, relax and recuperate from wonderful hikes. Wonderful casita

Kurt has this hacienda nicely equipped. It’s a nice size for two and close to North Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carfree.

Beautiful property - wonderful host

Short stay to attend family function in Scottsdale. Curt was extremely helpful with everything from the booking process through guiding us into the property and giving us a thorough introduction to all of the features and amenities of the casita. The casita is well provisioned with just about anything you could ever need. Obviously, lots of thought has gone into the preparation of this property. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Great experience!

Peace and Tranquility

Absolutely wonderful, from driving directions, a friendly welcome from Curt, to an amazing property. Quiet and restful casita with a private pool. Would highly recommend and return again ourselves!

Curt's motto is "Only the best" and it shows. We have stayed here many times and there are simply no other VRBO locations that can touch it for quiet, comfort, provided extras - or host.

Fantastic

Had a great stay at a great rental house. Beautiful landscaping with a lot of comfortable outdoor seating areas. Nice view from the roof patio area. Having all of the switches clearly labeled was very helpful with the lights and fans.

Fabulous!

We had such a great time here! Our vacation was a short one but there was so much to do in that time. Curt was amazing with his suggestions of things to do and see in the area. The property was fantastic- anything and everything that you could possibly want was provided. We absolutely loved it - thank you Curt!

Perfect Getaway

Our stay was flawless. Curt made us feel right at home and gave us some great recommendations for locals eats and things to do. Rooftop offered some incredible views of the surrounding mountains. We also loved stargazing from the hot tub. The casita was well stocked and super clean. Highly recommend!

Perfect, quiet Cave Creek retreat

Everything was delightful about our stay. Property was clean and well equipped. Perfect space for two people with fantastic amenities and a view to die for. Close to shopping, highways, and restaurants/cafes. Curt was one of the most courteous and friendly hosts! Highly recommended!

Nice Place but Shared Pool

This place was very nice and the host was even nicer. The location is great. Cave Creek and Carefree are cute towns with many local artists and hiking trails. The nearby ATVing was amazing and right in the mountains. However, we thought the pool would be private. It's shared with the owner and not heated. Also, the hot tub has limited hours and can only be started through an app on the owner's phone. Overall, I would say it was a comfortable place and somewhere we could stay again, just not quite what we were expecting.

Only two drawbacks

Curt's property is a true gem - the best maintained of any VRBO we have ever used, by far. We are regulars here. The last quarter mile in on a dirt road is a slight drawback for some, perhaps. The new bed was entirely too firm for us, however. Neither of us got a decent rest. Book here if extra firm is your bed preference.

Best Casita in Cave Creek!!

This casita was fabulous, and Curt is an exceptional host!! The casita is clean, comfy, and in close proximity to everything needed! Curt has thought of everything when it comes to the casita, and is also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, restaurants, hiking, etc. We were very pleased with his recommendations! Our only complaint is that we didn't have more days to stay longer!! Easy to see why most people that stay here are return customers - we will be back for sure!!

Out of this world

Everything was perfect and it was just like it was your own casita. It had everything and Curt was an excellent host. Nothing was missing and it was a perfect time. Our only regret was not having more time at the location. Sunrise & sunset views from the view deck were breathtaking!!! Hope to do again. Curt could not have been better!!

A truly remarkable experience

Just a fantastic casita. Great location, very well stocked, extremely clean, both inside and out. Beautiful landscape and pool. Tremendous views from the second floor open deck. Curt was very helpful from the moment we arrived, the tour of the casita, the helpfulness of understanding the area we were in, and well, the genuine warmth of his hospitality. Thank you, Curt, 5 stars are not enough.

Best place and Great Host

My husband & I stayed for 6 nights and it was absolutely great!. The casita has everything you need and is very comfortable. The property is beautiful and you can tell it is taken care of with love. Curt is an absolute great host. Communication was outstanding. He assisted us with any questions & recommendations. We need people more like him. I felt like I was at home. Thanks Curt!!

Casita at Cave Creek

We stayed one week at this great Casita. The property was wonderful! Very clean and equipped with everything you can possibly need. But our host was the best. Curt was fantastic. He stressed from the start that he just wanted us to relax. He offered a lot of advice for dining, Hiking and other activities. We enjoyed hearing about some of his experiences experiences living in AZ. We’ll be back. Royce

Desert Escape

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Curt's desert casita. It is meticulously well kept and stocked for your every need, from, Bormioli Rocco glassware, Bosch appliances, Pete's Coffee in the pantry and the best (Charmin) toilet tissue. Beautifully appointed furniture made relaxing in the evenings after some awesome area hikes a joy. The courtyard has a beautiful pool and hot tub and the casita has a balcony with the most spectacular views of the desert and surrounding mountains. We loved the quiet, reclusiveness of this home (and no traffic) but in less than a mile you will find a large grocery store and restaurant's. A few more miles away you will find the quaint towns of Carefree and Cave Creek. Curt is full of knowledge of the area and you can tell he really loves his home and sharing it with others. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Curt, for a wonderful stay and we wish you well!

Born and raised in So. California. Moved to Utah and had a beautiful horse ranch for 20 years. And now, in Cave Creek, Arizona and I call this home and love it. I'm an outdoors kinda guy and this is "the spot" for anyone who has any interest in anything outdoors! The only limits are the limits of your imagination. My days are full and I could not ask for more.

I went to the Orme School here during the "70's and have an abundance of life long friends in the area. In fact, the Realtor that found this for me was a classmate of mine. This place has a completely private yard surrounded by a privacy wall and wonderful layout for a yard. I have an RV, so the large RV garage fit my needs just perfect. All I can say is that when you find it, sometimes you just know it and this has been the fortunate case for me.

This spot is awesome. The feeling of being "out there" yet 4 minutes away from all the necessities and amenities that you need. Freeway access is key around here and we are close to I-17 north for Sedona/ Flagstaff or about 15 minutes to the 101 for east/west/south travel. Living here on "the hill" is also 10 degrees cooler than downtown. Unique benefits? If you like the beauty of the desert and all it has to offer - it is here.
