We know how important it is to feel comfortable & relaxed when you arrive back from a long day of sightseeing or work. This idea is what inspired us to renovate our spacious apartment and provide everyone that stays a place to recharge, relax and enjoy.

The elegance of this historic building and our beautifully decorated apt, with two bedrooms and 3 bthr, large closets, ACs, lovely terrace for BBQ makes this place your perfect choice!

We did not meet our host but the check process was straight forward. The condo was clean and well supplied. It was comfortable and mostly quiet ( except when upstairs is doi g laundry or walking across the floor).There is only parking on the street.

The place was great. Loved the interior and had a nice courtyard out back. Well equipped kitchen and bedrooms were large and private. 3 bathrooms a plus.

We were pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment. Something to be aware of before you book: There are no windows in the bedrooms so the apartment is rather dark inside. However, there is a lovely courtyard for sitting out.

Beautiful house

House had plenty of space for even a small family. We liked the convenience of parking right outside the house. The shopping mall and a grocery store were in close walking proximity. We enjoyed the amenities the house provided.

We enjoyed our stay

The place is exactly as shown. It is clean, and the beds are comfortable. Check in went smoothly and we are able to get in before the check in time. Will definitely come back.

Towels were scarce. Only one towel per person for 4 nights. Only 2 dish washing pods. No Kleenex. We had to buy extra toilet paper. We had to buy extra coffee. One of the bathrooms showers overflowing. I sent a message to the manager he never got back to me until we were already there ! I needed information about coffee maker, washer etc. over all I would not stay there again. It was doable… but I don’t go on vacation to just get by. Hotel next time. The bed was comfy as were the pillows.

Perfect for a visit in coimbra

The apartment was perfectly furnished. Everything you need for a stay is there. Communication with the host was very good. The location is very good, about a 15-minute walk to the old town and the old university. There are shopping and dining options in the immediate vicinity of the apartment.

Fantastic Stay!!

This property was fantastic! Very clean, chic, modern, with a ton of nice amenities (waters, hair dryer, Kit Kats, coffee, etc. The communication with the owner was fantastic, and I would recommend the property to anyone.

Great Place, restful, neat and clean

This property was perfect for us after having completed the Portuguese Camino. Restful and a bit of a walk from the town centre, but lovely walk through the park to the university. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Spacious updated home in great neighborhood.

Updated "shotgun style" apartment on the main floor with lots of space, comfortable beds, and 3 bathrooms. Easy to find and smooth communication with host when needed. We parked our car right out front and walked, scootered, or used Bolt ride for inexpensive rides . Very convenient. There are restaurants within easy walking distance, but out of the main tourist area. We appreciated the washer on the enclosed patio as well. Highly recommend!

One night in Coimbra

We had a lovely stay in Coimbra! João was there to answer any questions. Nice little neighborhood and a quick Bolt ride to dinner. Thank you João for the hospitality!

Pleasantly surprised

You never know what is behind a closed door, place was modern, clean and spacious, the outdoor space was a bonus. Short commute to the river and close to stadium.Bed was comfy and the apartment was well equipped with necessities.

Great place for a stay in Coimbra!

We stayed here for a week as a base of exploration for this region. A few days exploring Coimbra and a few days day-tripping around the region. Great apartment! It is on the next "ring" out from the city center. City center is too crazy to drive and park so we stayed here. On-street parking is available. One has to hunt, but we always found something nearby. It is a bit of a walk to city center, but OK for those fit and willing. 10 minutes uphill to the Botanical Garden, and 10 minutes more to the University. From there everything is downhill (cute shops, restaurants, tourist center, etc.). So if you're OK with a 20 minute walk to city center (which we were fine with) then this is a great place. Keep in mind Coimbra is hilly, so we got our steps in! :) Ground floor. Very clean. 2 bedrooms (v nice), 3(!) bathrooms! Living room and kitchen. Plus! a private outside deck/patio area.There was a clothes washing machine. No dryer, but we strung a line on the deck to dry our clothes. 5 minutes walk away is a medium sized Pingo Doce supermarket and 10 minutes away is a larger Auchan Market. We liked staying more on the edge of the tourist area with a car as it made driving in and out, and parking easier.This was overall a fabulous choice, if you don't mind being on the border of the tourist area (which is our preference anyway).

Die Ankunft war unkompliziert, wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung war sauber, großzügig geschnitten und entspricht den Bildern – für vier Personen absolut ausreichend.Einige Stellen könnten etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit vertragen: Von den drei Duschen war nur eine wirklich angenehm nutzbar, zwei Bäder wirken inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch wären ein paar frische Batterien für die Fernbedienungen (z. B. der Klimaanlage) hilfreich gewesen – zum Glück war es nicht allzu heiß.Ein kleiner Vorhang in der Küche würde den Blick auf den dunklen Hinterhof charmant verdecken. Auch Dinge wie Küchenrolle oder ein, zwei Spülmaschinentabs wären eine schöne Geste – Kleinigkeiten, die den Aufenthalt komfortabler machen würden.Insgesamt haben wir uns aber wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen. Vielen Dank!

Grand appartement très propre. Les lits sont très confortables. La cuisine est équipée avec le nécessaire, mais il n’y a pas de grille-pain. L’appartement est au rez-de-chaussée avec une cour intérieure, ce qui est agréable. Nous y étions au début du mois de mai et l’appartement était malheureusement froid et humide à notre arrivée. Il a été compliqué de le réchauffer car il n’y avait aucune information écrite sur le fonctionnement des appareils. Ce serait un élément à ajouter.
