Great location, close to both the beach and night heron pools. House was nicely furnished, but the bathrooms need some updating and better maintenance. Master bath had not been cleaned either when we checked in.

This location was amazing. Close to the beach and night heron pool, but the house could have been a little cleaner. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to be back on this island.

Lovely Holiday Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely cottage! Just the perfect size and layout for our family. The cottage is clean, bright and comfortable. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen for some light cooking. The location is very convenient to much on the island -- the park, pools and beach. It was a restful and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you so much!

Kiawah Paradise Even in January

OK, I am the owner but VRBO keeps asking me to review my own home so here we go! Kiawah is paradise even in January! It was chilly but clear blue skies and nothing like what people experience up north. As for our accomodations, what do I say but comfy, clean and great location! We spent time on the beach, the ocean course and in Charleston. Sunshine Daydream is calling me back to Kiawah! Enjoy!

Home away from Home

Had a wonderful stay last month with extended family, had all the comforts of home and was within walking & biking distance to all of the amenities Kiawah has to offer. Would recommend and will likely return next year!

Wonderful Weekend in Kiawah!

"Sunshine Daydream" was a lovely home for our girls getaway weekend! It is cheerful, comfortable, clean, and convenient to activities on Kiawah. We walked on the beach, rode bikes all around, and signed up for a kayak tour with a naturalist. The kitchen is well-stocked and open to the living area. We enjoyed cooking dinner and eating on the screen porch. The owner is delightful and responsive and made us feel welcome.

The Perfect Place

This was our second stay at Sunshine Daydream. For us, it is the perfect place to spend our family vacation. The cottage is exceptionally clean and comfortable. It is incredibly convenient to both the Night Heron pool and the beach. My 4-year old also really enjoyed the selection of children's books. We brought our bikes with us and enjoyed many of the paved trails Kiawah has to offer. The lovely screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature (we saw 2 deer passing through the backyard on several occasions). I only wished we could've stayed longer. Highly recommend! Looking forward to visiting again next year.

The Best of All Possible Worlds

We stayed in this cottage for a week in mid August 2016. We have stayed in Kiawah many times, and this is our favorite neighborhood. Everything is nearby (beach access, bike paths, Night Heron Park and Pool). The cottage itself is darling. It's quite clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The refrigerator has a filter - so no need to buy and haul water in. The best part about this property is that you have resort privileges - which means access to the lovely Night Heron pool, and some other perks. I couldn't have asked for anything more - it was a perfect spot for my husband and I and 4 teenagers to spend a perfect week. The owners were delightful to work with, though we had no issues to resolve with the cottage during our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Kiawah.

Perfect Location!

This cottage is the best of both worlds.... Beach and Night Herron are just a walk/short bike ride away! The outside shower was fantastic as we had 4 kiddos with us and it kept the sand from coming inside. We stayed in 3 nights and cooked dinner and the kitchen was nicely appointed. The bunk room was great for 4 young girls! Having resort privledges is a must from maintainence issues quickly resolved, fresh towels and pool access at night Herron! We had a great time here! The owners were fantastic to work with directly.

Perfect little spot in Kiawah

My first reaction on seeing this little gem of a place was that it looks so much better than in the pictures! Perfectly situated, this cottage is fantastic for families or a group of friends. I came with a group of girls for a bachelorette spa weekend, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. The cottage is modern and spacious, clean, well decorated, lots of beds and is fully stocked. Kiawah Island is beautiful, and the resort privleges made everything so easy. The owners are also fantastic and were very responsive. The only thing that prevented me from giving this 5 stars is the payment method - it would have been great to have some form of electronic method like PayPal or credit card, but check was the only method available. Being Canadian, this posed some problems from an international perspective, but was able to get a US-based friend to help me out. Other than that, this was an amazing place to stay and I hope to come back again!

A Wonderful Getaway in Kiawah

We were so pleased when we arrived at the cottage. Everthing was just perfect! We found the kitchen to be well supplied and the appliances were in great condition. The beds were very comfortable, an important thing to my husband and I. Our young grandchildren were with us and it was a short walk to the pool and about a 5 minute walk to the beach which made it convenient. We definitely recommend staying here. We will be back!

Our family loves Sunshine Daydream and Kiawah!

My family and I absolutely love Sunshine Daydream! We recently returned from our third visit to Kiawah as a family. Our first two week long stays at Sunshine Daydream were absolutely wonderful, so we decided to add another week this year. Our two week vacation in August was even better than we could have imagined! Kiawah, itself, is such a special place to vacation, but staying in a place like Sunshine Daydream made it even more enjoyable. The cottage is clean and cheerful. It had plenty of space for my husband, myself, our three young children, and our three older children who visited for some of the vacation. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds! I cannot safe enough good things about Sunshine Daydream and the owners! The owners were friendly and extremely easy to work with. We are very grateful for the opportunity to stay in such special place three years in a row. We are already planning and counting down the days till we can return next summer! I highly recommend Sunshine Daydream!

Wonderful home and owner!

This cottage is a lovely home and worth the rental! It is located 5 minutes from Night Heron Park and the pools (resort privileges included) and about 8 minute walk to the beach. The home has been recently redone and we found the beds comfortable and the amenities in the kitchen and bedrooms great. The owner's were very nice and wanted to make sure our stay was the best. The resort amenities were well worth it for us as it gave us access to the pools and wonder Kiawah Island concierge services which we took advantage of. We will rent here again and you should too.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family stayed 7 nights in this wonderful cottage. We had four adults and 5 children and did not feel crowded. The kids room had 4 bunk beds and was perfect for our family. The cottage is close to both Night Heron Park (pool) and the beach. The cottage was well-appointed and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything you need for meals. The owner was great to work with and very responsive to any question. We loved the place and definitely stay here again.

Amazing vacation spot!

My family and I had an unforgettable week at Sunshine Daydream! The house is bright, comfortable and recently renovated and the location is fantastic. We were three adults and three children in Kiawah for a wedding, and thanks in large part to Sunny and her lovely vacation house, we had a fantastic week. Highly recommended!

We love the beach, crabbing, fishing, biking, playing in the park, boating, water skiing and tubing, kayaking and hanging out at the beach or pool. Night Heron park has offered many kid and teen activities for our children.
