Labor Day getaway
We arrived about 1.5 hours before checkin and were allowed in the property which was nice. We had reached out upon booking and again before arriving to see if we could get an early check in with zero response.
When we walked in, there was plenty of room but kind of a musty smell to the place. The patio door wasn’t secured leaving gapes in the seal. We walked around and picked up dead roaches around the rooms. There were two more that we saw upon check out in the master bedroom. Ants also trailed in and were on the couch and bed.
The walls had stains of unknown sources. Bathrooms were small and dank.
Unfortunately a storm rolled through and electricity was out from about 2:30 am-9:15 am on Monday morning. The fire alarms for the halls were going off periodically which was unsettling at times.
We loved the pool area and boardwalk to the beach.
Overall, not what we thought and would likely not stay again.
