Lindas Convent Garden Home 2 - beautiful courtyard to enjoy Mediterranean flair

My name is Michalis. I am part of a big fat Greek-German family. My mother bought a house in the neighborhood in 1992 (Linda's Convent House and Courtyard). By this she laid the foundation for my rental activities today. In her honor I call all the assemble Linda's Home and Apts. My family and me (3 sons) live in Germany, however, I am frequently in Chania. We welcome you to Chania and are happy to host you. :)

The house is located in the Splatsia district, which lies directly behind the old port of Chania. It is characterized by Venetian style of narrow streets, narrow but deep houses and courtyards. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Who has been here once knows why. The immediate neighborhood is characterized by a rural idyll. Nevertheless, the center and the always lively port are nearby. The Splantsia Square or Plateia 1821, is also a place with a moving story. It is surrounded by cafes, taverns and the local church of Ag. Nikolaos. It is recognizable by the Venetian campanile as well as the Turks minaret. The area immediately adjacent to the north east on the waterfront "Koumkapi". This can be reached by finding your path through the maze-like streets of the neighborhood. Have fun :-). The adjacent waterfront is busy at night as well as during the day. Especially in the morning it is ideal for a refreshing bath. The water is suitable for swimming and it is continuously monitored. Pensioners and children of the neighborhood are daily swimming here too. You will make new friends daily.

The house has a private garden/courtyard in the front. It invites you to sit outside all day and enjoy mediterranian flair. There are only few houses with features like this a all is small and narrow in the old town. Enjoy :)
