Lovely well kept home. Check in was a breeze, kitchen essentials provided. Katie was quick to respond to messages. We enjoyed our stay and the bonus of being close to the beach and a nearby park.

Cute place near the beach

Our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights and were very comfortable. The house is located super close to the beach and anything else you might need. Love that they provided beach towels and a cooler. Only negative was no washer/dryer which we knew up front, but this makes it difficult to dry beach towels/swim suits since there’s also no where to really hang anything outside. A clothesline outside would be ideal but we made due with placing items over the chairs near the fire pit. The neighborhood is very peaceful and had a big park down the street that our boys enjoyed as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Peacful neighborhood and so close to the beach

We had a wonderful time staying here! My inlaws brought their dog and we were only 5 minutes away from a small inland dog beach which had few people. We were also only less than 8 minutes from lake MI which also had a dog beach! The neighborhood was very peaceful and the house was very clean and extremely well stocked! Our hostess was very good at communicating. And very genrous! We couldn't be happier with our stay! v

Cute house in quiet neighborhood

The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. My children loved the toys provided and the skateboard swing out back. I appreciated the quality kitchen that had all of the cooking supplies on needed.

A wonderful place to stay!

Philo is a wonderfully cozy stay just minutes from Pere Marquette! This was my family’s second time here, and it was just as lovy a stay as our first time!

Burning Foot Bash

As a girl's weekend away for the Burning Foot Beer festival will be one that will be hard to beat. The property and host Katherine we both amazing. The house was cozy and chic while Katherine checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. The simple touches of chocolate and "in case you forgot anything box" made it feel like home. Five stars and will stay again if we return to the west side!

Great Location

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. The appliances in the kitchen were all new. Nearby Seyferth Park was great for my friends to walk their dog. Pere Marquette Park, Kruse Park (dog beach) and Dune Harbor Park are all near by. We are definitely considering a future trip.

This home is so beautifully decorated! Everything was so clean and organized. The owner did an amazing job remembering every detail! Four adults and 2 kids were very comfortable here. The property itself is in a quiet neighborhood with super close proximity to beaches and restaurants (just a short drive). Our group enjoyed the fire ring in the backyard as well, and my kids loved the swing! Although the weather did not cooperate for us, I would definitely rent here again to see more of what Muskegon has to offer. It is a very affordable lovely little home. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing house in muskegon

My husband, daughter and friend came to Muskegon for a wedding. The house was immaculate and anything you could have forgotten to pack was there for you. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and all three bedrooms were lovely The communication with Katie was perfect. She responded with any question I had right away. I would highly encourage one to book this place.

Wonderful place to stay!

Stayed here for a few days while taking my kids to Pere Marquette—perfect location and lovely home! Also accidentally left my kid’s stuffed animals, but Katherine got them sent back to me right away and with no issues. Thank you so much!!! Hope to come back!

Philo

While the neighborhood lacks a “wow” factor it is quiet and walkable. Our cottage was cute as a bug and very accommodating. We did have need for a clothes line after the beach to dry our towels along with an outdoor grill, but other than that our stay was awesome.
