Find your Groove in Ocean Beach
Just north of Point Loma, this small beach town is a favorite among locals for its blissful mix of activities and pastimes, including surfing, sunbathing near the pier and strolling among the many surf shops, taco stands and unique local boutiques. Ocean Beach boasts a throwback vibe of vintage SoCal, coupled with friendly locals, great dining and microbrews, and a vibrant nightlife scene.

WHERE TO GO
The Pier at the foot of Newport Avenue is one of the longest piers in Southern California, extending a half mile out to sea. The Ocean Beach Pier is one of the few places in San Diego where you can fish without a valid California fishing license. It is now fully reopened after extensive repairs due to storm and wave damage.
Dog Beach is wedged between the Mission Bay Harbor Channel and the jetty at the north end of Ocean Beach. Here, pets are not only allowed on the beach, but are permitted to play leash-free with other canine beach-lovers.

This shabby Chic bungalow is walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and downtown shops , eating. Great outdoor space for BBQ and enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Free on site parking included.

Wonderful little house! Very small but very doable. The parking spot is so convenient and I felt the neighborhood was very safe and quiet.

Perfect place to relax

We were in town for a wedding and this location was perfect. Close to beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing spot.

Stayed here for two nights, bathroom smelt like mildew, bed linens had hair and were dirty, no air ventilation and also found live huge cockroaches under the sink and in the shower— has a lot of potential if given more effort and tlc.

Enjoyed the historic cottage and the close walk to the beach and places to eat. Cottage could use a bit of maintenance on front door floor pad, made it awkward going in and out.and bathroom door knob ready to fall off Shower hot and cold backwards, made for interesting discovery. Host very responsive to our needs.

Excellent location

Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and also to the main Ocean Beach area - full of bars, restaurants and shops so lots to do in the area.

Quaint cottage in lovely location

Cute place and very clean! So great to have parking and outdoor seating areas. Appreciated the espresso maker, pods and creamers made available. Worked well for our 2 night stay to visit our daughter.

Affordable spot in a great location!

The property was just what we needed for our group of 3 adults to stay near the beach for a few days. Not really set up for dining in, but for breakfast and sightseeing it worked well, and it was great to have a dedicated parking place!

Perfect location

The location is perfect with a 2 block walk to the beach and awesome local restaurants. The place is small. Our biggest issue was the A/C unit. It did not work correctly. After letting it run for a while it actually starts blowing out hot air. Our first night was uncomfortable. The second night we opened the windows and used the additional fans there and were prettycool. Overall, it was a good stay, just hot at times. We were harsly there, so it was not a major problem, and the San Diegobweather was on our side.
