parking spot was so helpful during this stay! close to restaurants, convenience stores, and of course the beach. perfect size for a couple for a weekend or short stay, all amenities (pots, pans, etc.) were also very useful in cooking throughout the stay. would definitely book again!

The location is the best, nearby to dog beach beach and shops. Only two downfalls were the size of bed. Too small for two full size adults. And directions to property needs to include the white gate is the entrance; this would save wandering around other properties looking for the house #. Everything else is great.

This wonderful cottage is in the perfect part of town to walk to the beach each morning, walk to dinner in the evening, and being 15 mins from the Zoo and SeaWorld. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great and cozy beach house

It was great, had just about everything we needed and was quiet and private with close access to all kinds of activities. Check in was easy, kitchen was lightly stocked but complete.

I enjoyed the stay nice and close to the ocean. It doesn’t really matter to me, but there were two windows that were open when I got there and they were big enough for somebody to crawl through if they wanted to break in not that that’s a giant problem, but I wouldn’t want anybody climbing in and just squatting in my property either

Great location, be prepared for some plane noise

The cottage was overall clean and had all we needed to cook and be comfortable. The decor is cute and beachy. The bed and couch bed were comfortable. There were nice towels and beach towels provided. The location can’t be beat! It’s one block from the beach and there are great restaurants within walking distance. This is mentioned in the other reviews, and not the fault of the property owner, but it’s worth noting that the airport flight path is above the house. If you’re looking for a quiet beach get away, this is something to be aware of. OB is under the path, so even when at the beach, you hear planes. Other than that, this is a quaint cozy cottage. It has an ac that works well and ceiling fans.

Overall good but the parking

Over all the stay and property was in a great location and very clean the only down fall was the parking spot was not able to be used due to the fact that the parking next to us and across from us have trucks and suvs so they are half way in the middle of the driving way of the alley and we couldn’t park there except for the first night when no one was park there other then that we had to find a parking spot a block away from the house and walk which was not horrible but if the reason you picked that place was to make sure you had parking so you didn’t have to hunt for a spot it defeats the purpose but other then that the place was good and also the location right by the beach

Perfect little Getaway House

The home was small (but accurately mentioned in listing) designed wonderful to feel cozy and spacious. The location was walkable to restaurants, the beach and plenty of shops. It was clean and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. With a privacy fence inclosing 4 units it felt very safe and secluded from the street. I would note the parking was extremely tight and anything larger than a small SUV would not have fit (but very standard for this neighborhood and a big plus having a designated space)

Great location

Cute place with basic needs. I was in San Diego for a conference so really just needed a place to lay my head. The lockbox was difficult to open and I was never able to get it back on. Did have various communication with the owner and she was great. Maybe ask if the lockbox has been changed as that was a challenge.

Annual Vacation

What a wonderful little bungalow!! It’s literally a block from the beach! Loved having a designated parking space, along with a little hose for washing off the sand. Loved sitting outside with coffee in the morning - what a gem!

Super close to beach

Overall it was a really nice stay. It is a really quick walk to dog beach. The property is a decent size. There wasn't extra betting for the living room pull out so that was a little difficult. Also, it is really convenient to have a parking space, but it is snug! Everyone was really nice and I felt comfortable and safe. The kitchenware was also limited, maybe want to bring your own things for the oven. I really like to cook, so it was a little limited. Otherwise lovely and convenient.

Great place to stay

Perfect location in Ocean Beach. Short walk to the ocean and to many restaurants. Safe area. Reserved parking a bonus.

Anniversary

It was sweet and perfect. Clean and had everything we needed. We wanted a place close to the beach and shops and this fit that to a “T”. We were able to walk everyday and explore the area. It was close to the freeway and easy to find (in the daylight). We would definitely return again.
