SUGARHOUSE Single Family Furnished Vacation Rental House, Car Port. 15 minutes to airport, 3 minutes to I15 and I80; 10 minutes to downtown Salt Lake City and Temple Square and the University Of Utah Campus and Medical Center. 25 minutes from seven world class ski resorts in Salt Lake; and Park City; within 60 minutes from all Olympic Ski venues.

A great long term stay!

I stayed at Art’s property for all of ski season and it was perfect for what I needed. Great location to all ski resorts and the space was perfect for me to stay in and work from with guests on the weekend. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy quirky place

We really enjoyed our stay it was very cozy kind of quirky like staying at grandma's house. We only had 1 minor problem and that was no power cord for the tv and the owners were unaware it was missing and unfortunately it had to by ordered online and it was Christmastime so delivery was not till after new years so they were going to get it ordered. We were in salt lake to visit the kids so we weren't there much and had music and books to read so it was very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again loved it!

Would never stay there again

Total lack of care for inside and outside of the property. My impressions: carpet was filthy and needs to be cleaned same with kitchen floor. There were no cleaning supplies like dish or hand soap, paper towels, etc. very sparse dishware, utensils, pots and pans. Dirty. cutting Board. I believe a couple thousand dollars to have it professionally cleaned inside and out upgrade the poor quality fans and kitchen ware Rehang the broken cabinet door in the bathroomand in general just make it a clean environment that you would feel comfortable being there. And lastly there were ants most everywhere.

Skiing in Utah

We had a great 6 day stay. There were 2 of us who stayed. The house was small and efficient. It had everything we needed. The home was clean and well kept. It had everything we needed. The location was great; less than 45 minutes from the house and we were on the slopes. Next time we ski Utah we'll definitely see if this property is available.

I appreciated finding a place for 6 within walking distance to my daughter's house and near everywhere we were going. The owner went out of his way to locate a pack and play for my granddaughter to use during our stay.

Stay Here if you're staying in Salt Lake

Really great place to stay if you're in Salt Lake. We used it as a home base for skiing, and it was perfect. Very well located, about equal distance to anywhere you would want to go in town or to any of the ski areas. Nice neighborhood. Very dog friendly, our two small dogs were happy campers. The house is very cozy and clean, and well-maintained by owners. Has a few basic cable channels too. Car port keeps car from frosting overnight, which is a really nice bonus in the winter. Owners are very helpful and friendly, they gave us a great recommendation to get tickets and rentals at the Lifthouse. Price is really great too. They have two double beds but also a couple one-person sleepers so you could tightly pack a nice little crew or if you had several kids this would work nicely. The next time we visit, this will be the first place we look.

WE'LL BE BACK

We decided to try a vacation rental instead of a hotel this family reunion and couldn't have been more pleased. With a infant, I was worried that she might keep the neighbors up with her crying at night in a hotel, but to our surprise she slept through the night. The house was nice and quiet and just the right temperature and clean, a nice place to come back to after spend some time with family for the day. My family does a gathering once a year, and I'm reserving my spot with Art and Kathy for next year. The price is right, the location is right, the vacation rental is right, it's a diamond in the rough.

Great ski pad!

This is a perfect place to stay for the money and for our two little dogs. We hate to have to leave them behind and we were so glad we found this little house in such a great location. We are now enjoying the greatest snow on earth and also being so close to them.

Location Location Location!

We had a wonderful stay! It was equipped with everything that we needed in our own home. It is decorated with warmth, charm and vaulted ceilings...cozy cabin feeling. The yard is enclosed, our Mini Schnauzer especially enjoyed this, nice outdoor area for our dog. The neighborhood is safe, friendly and walkable. The location of the property is great. Near shopping, food, fabulous ski resorts, ect. couldn't ask for a better location. I would recommend this home, without hesitation, to anyone. One would be hard pressed to find something better for this price!

This property is in a quiet neighbourhood yet is close to virtually everything and is well suited for year round activities. For those wanting public transportation, this property is right on the bus route that gets to everywhere on the Wasatch Front in just minutes. For those inclined to do a little walking there is also much to do on foot. A one mile walk gets you to just about everything. Minutes to downtown and the University of Utah School, and world renowned University of Utah Hospital and Medical Center.
