Nestled on the banks of the Metolius River, cabin ten offers the most secluded location at the resort. Enjoy the private deck with a lovely view of the river or relax in the casual elegance of hickory, local natural pine, and rich leather furnishings. After a day of uncomplicated cabin life, you will feel the stress begin to melt away.

You will find plenty of options to compliment your quiet cabin evenings. A 42” flat screen HD satellite TV, Blu-ray player, new Bose wave music system with iPod docking station; stereo (CD/DVD and radio), and a wide selection of music, movies, and books are available for your enjoyment. We also have a dedicated wireless internet connection. So bring your computer if you must, but don’t forget to slow down and enjoy the river.

Enjoy the river view over breakfast or while preparing an intimate meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Slab granite countertops and stainless appliances bring an unexpected level of sophistication for your cabin experience while the graceful river setting provides the ultimate getaway.
After a day of leisure or fishing the cold Metolius River, cozy up in one of our two comfortable queen beds. The loft features a queen bed and a remarkable view of the river. The private downstairs bedroom offers more space to enjoy warmth, rest, and comfort.

Gorgeous spot, quiet and well stocked cabin.

We grew up coming to the Metolius River - one of our favorite places in the world. Have been campers all our lives, but getting too creaky for that now. This is second best to camping... maybe better according to my husband. Easy walk to Camp Sherman store, the river and fly-fishing, spectacular hiking. Well stocked cabin with beautiful deck overlooking the river. Serene. Will be back!

Lovely Camp Sherman!!!

We stay in Camp Sherman several times a year and are never disappointed with the cabins at Metolius River Resort. We really liked cabin #10!!!!! The cabin has a large kitchen so more than 2 people can help cook and the dinner table has comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the river views!!!! Very comfortable furniture and the sound system was accommodating. Very good stay and would recommend to everyone.

The Perfect Getaway

Cabin 10 provided the most amazing year end getaway for us. The cabin is cozy and inviting; once the fire is going, you’ll never want to leave. You can enjoy the fire while you look out to the river from the deck. The kitchen is well stocked, and the store has everything you could need to prepare some great meals. The cabin is only rivaled by the most amazing setting. Inside or outside - there is simply nothing missing. They even have WiFi - but I would strongly recommend turning off your electronic devices and taking advantage of the opportunity to unplug and enjoy.

Lovely cabin

Lovely cabin in a quiet location right on the Metolius. We enjoyed the deck in the morning and evening and even though it was hot during the day, opening up the house at night and closing it in the morning kept it cool.

Cozy, clean and comfortable!

The view! The cabin! The helpful staff! What a wonderful spot. Almost don't want to give it such a glowing review so it doesn't get over-discovered but I can't help it. Thanks for sharing this sweet spot with us. The cabin was wonderfully outfitted and very clean. We had a great weekend hiking and enjoying an overnight snowfall. Logan, the host, was super helpful, checking in a couple of times to see if we needed anything. I love Camp Sherman and when not camping, this will be our new go-to spot.

Great home - but cleaning fee far too high

While we loved pretty much everything about Cabin #10, the cleaning fee + booking fee equaled 1 full nights stay. We, of course, expected the place to be spotless for such a high cleaning fee and it wasn't. So we feel the cleaning fee is far too high. Unfortunately, we can't justify paying for an extra night as a cleaning fee and will not stay here again. If you just have an extra night's fee laying around, you will love this place. But this place should have been perfect for the price people pay to clean it.

Disappointed

The cabin was lovely and the closeness to the river amazing. However, our stay was horrible. We arrived at 4:40 Sunday evening with happiness and anticipation for the relaxing two days ahead. This hopeful frame of mind was dashed at 7:30 am the next morning as we awoke to air guns and hammers right beside our heads. This went on until 7:30 that night and resumed before 8 am Tuesday morning, continuing again throughout the day until past 7pm. It was so horrible. Three cabins were being re-roofed. Right behind our cabin on the same property. What should have been our little escape was ruined. We got migraines from the pounding. If only this company had told us about the roofing project, we would have booked another time. We left feeling taken for our money with no consideration for our quality of stay. We drove home to the city three hours away in pure silence, shocked at what could have been a lovely stay on the Metolius that was shattered by the laughter of roofers and the pounding of hammers.

beautiful cabin in a beautiful place!

This beautiful cabin is ideally located on the banks of the Metolius River in Camp Sherman, with miles of hiking and fishing right outside the door. My wife and I were very comfortable and only wish we could have stayed much longer. We will return for a longer stay.
