What a great relaxing stay for a week. Responsive host company, private, close to downtown Sisters for morning visits to the bakery. Epic views. Wood burning fireplace keeps it however hot you want the space to be, wall heaters do the same for convenience. We WILL be back.

Lovely place!

The place was lovely! The location was gorgeous and isolated, but close enough to town for any needs. The host was communicative and the listing was accurate. We were super close to amazing hikes and food. Overall, we had an absolutely excellent time!

Gorgeous views

The yurt was cozy and the setting was stunning. Unfortunately, our stay was during a heat wave, and in spite of fans and a portable AC, the interior temps were extremely high during the afternoons. However, there was shade under the mature juniper trees next to the pond, and so we sat out there with the dogs for hours enjoying the breeze, watching the amazing bird activity and soaking in the natural setting. Fortunately, the nights cooled off and were comfortable for sleeping. I would highly recommend this yurt for a comfortable and rustic retreat.

Glamping in super style

This little yurt is absolutely adorable! We had all the amenities we needed including some pretty amazing coffee. Location was perfect! Not too far from town but far enough to feel secluded. The bed was extremely comfortable and it even had a portable AC for summer time. The only downside was the watering system hit the yurt versus the surrounding grass so the sound of the water hitting the top and sides of the yurt was a bit distracting. Didn’t last long though. We would definitely return!

Two major issues; otherwise great

Pros: location, peacefulness, solitude, spectacular view, delightful yurt overall. Almost made up for the cons. If the A/C and icemaker issues were resolved, I would return regularly. Serious Cons: Icemaker makes loud banging noise every 1.5-2 hours, loud enough to prevent a good night's sleep, and doesn't work correctly. A/C totally inadequate - on sunny 80 day, set at 65, high fan, all drapes closed; inside temp reached 91.2 at 3pm, took until 8pm to go down to about 80 inside. Suggestions: Good reading light by the sofa and chair. Free-standing shower curtain rod around bath tub; I couldn't figure out how to shower without spraying the entire room.
