The Spring Hill area is the only place in the US where you can swim with Manatees! Come and meet these gentle giants!

We had families in mind when we designed Casa del Sol. Our cozy air conditioned sunroom is perfect for relaxing and watching the kids play in the pool, unless, of course, you jump in with them! Our comfy living room is perfect for movie night after a long day of play.

This home is in a great neighborhood. Heated salt water pool, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, fenced in back yard, close to the beach, manatees, kayaking, picnics, state parks, shopping, Busch Gardens and not too far from Orlando. Come stay with us!!

Our family had a fantastic stay! The property was super clean, fun, and exactly as described. Perfect home to relax and unwind

The home is lovely, just as pictured, yet owners continue to upgrade. They thought of all the little extras that make a stay nicer, fully stocked with more than just the essentials! My husband and I enjoyed our month stay escaping winter in Ohio.

This house was everything we hoped for and more! The enclosed in-ground pool was absolutely breathtaking — and safe, which gave us peace of mind with our toddlers around. The layout of the home was super toddler-friendly, with plenty of open space to play and no major hazards. It was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. I’d recommend this home to anyone, especially families with young kids. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Best hosts ever!

This was our second time staying at this house. We love it so much! The house is perfect, and you won’t find better hosts than Bruce and Janet. We plan to visit Florida more often, and our only wish is for a 2 or 3 night minimum instead of 5. We will probably not stay more than a few days when we visit. If we do want 5 nights, we will be sure to stay here again if it’s available.

So awesome

Very clean , very well appointed , so comfortable best equipped Vrbo rental I ever stayed in. Had everything we needed and more. Owners were so thoughtful and professional I wish I could give property and owner more than 5 stars our stay was that good.

Wonderful stay

Janet the hoat was amazing and super helpful. The property is beautiful. The info booklet is really useful. I loved the coffee machine! We xant wait to come back and stay here.

Home away from home

We have stayed two years in a row at Casa Del Sol and we have not been disappointed! A very clean well maintained home with all the comforts of home. The upgrades to a salt water pool was amazing. The area is very quiet and great for morning walks. Janet responds quickly to any communication sent and remedies any issues or concerns as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

Quiet location

House was clean very quiet location spacious home kitchen had everything you needed we where not happy with temperature of pool as pool was advertised as heated and wasn’t at constant temperature

We were unaware of the pool heating issue. Steve reached out the first week and let us know it was too cool for them. We have a remote control device on the pool heater. We adjusted to a warmer temperature, and it was fine for a week. It was reporting back to us that the pool was staying at a steady temperature of 85 degrees F so we assumed everything was fine. When our guests left they told us the pool temperature was in the 70’s. We have had the unit replaced.

Absolutely perfect

This property was exactly as described. Decorated nicely, clean, modern furniture, comfortable beds. The back patio and pool were so nice even though the water was too cold to get in. Sunroom was such a nice place to sit and have coffee in the mornings. This was the perfect place for me and my friends to stay for a wedding.

Awesome!

We loved every second spent in the house. The little touches were perfect. The house comfortably fit the 5 of us. Having 2 full baths with 5 women was awesome and we spent most of the time at the pool. The fact that there was extra toiletries, a welcome basket, laundry and supplies was great. I will definitely rent again!

Amazing hosts

I was blown away by the hosts of this property. Their communication was super fast, and they were also available by phone during our stay. I had some pretty stupid questions and requests, and they were so kind. There are so many great things about the house! The only negative was that the front bedroom curtains were too thin. Otherwise, I could go on and on about all the great things. We were able to close the windows in the sunroom and turn on the air conditioner, which made it possible to sit there. Otherwise, the extreme June heat and humidity would have made it unbearable. It was really nice to have that extra space. My family loved the pool! There are also some solar lights that come on at night. They even provided sunscreen! It's near a lot of stores, including a Publix grocery store and Target. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from, including local restaurants and chains. The housekeeper did a great job! The house was completely clean, and she added some decorative touches with the towels. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. So much thought and care was put into making our stay enjoyable.

The pool was not working properly when we checked in. The owner did not realize the problem until the pool maintenance man discovered it. It took a couple of days to repair, and we were able to enjoy it on the last day of our stay. The house was very nice and well maintained.

The guest never contacted us about the pool. The pool filter had a leak but was still useable. As soon as our maitainance guy alerted us we had it fixed within 12 hours. It is impossible to fix something that we are unaware that is broken.

This house was exceptionally clean. The pool was a great place to relax after a day of adventures. Great communication with the hosts and the house was well stocked little extras that made our stay easy (pool noodles, extra towels, coffee bar, etc).

If I could give this property/host 10 stars I would. We have been renting homes in Spring Hill for the past 6 years and this was the nicest.The home was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything was in good working order. All the furniture and beds were comforatble. The kitchen was well appointed. There was everything we needed plus extras we've never found at other places. The pool area was great for lounging and floating. The screened room was perfect for coffee in the morning. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire pit on a few chilly evenings.Janet and Bruce were easy to contact if we needed to ask questions and they always replied quickly.We will definitely want to return!

We are from Maine but have lots of family here and decided to invest in a place to call home that we can share. We own it with our daughter, son-in-law (and 2 granddaughters). Our son-in-law grew up in Spring Hill.

Our son-in-law lived in this neighborhood and loved it, Our neighbors take pride in their properties and are very friendly. It is very flat so great for walking. It is far off the main road so is very quite and yet is close to everything. We are about 2 miles from the Suncoast Parkway. Pubix Grocery Store and Walmart Neihborhood Market (groceries only) are about a mile away. The manatees, beaches and parks are within a 20 - 30 minute drive.

We designed Casa del Sol like our own home. We love how warm and homey it feels.

We stay here and think about what our guests would like. We love to cook, and our kitchen is fully equipped with everything we use when feeding our family. We think our beds are sooo comfortable. We put a mini split in our sunroom and practically live out there no matter the weather.

We have been working on updating our pool area. First and foremost, we switched over to a salt water pool. Saltwater pools have fewer harsh chemicals and are gentler on your skin, eyes and hair and won't fade your bathing suits or towels. We replaced the all screening around the pool...it mayk keep the bugs and squirrels out but not the geckos;) . We added soft solar lighting for evening swims. We heat the pool to between 88-90 degrees at no charge.

We love to barbeque and just purchased a new gas grill to share with our guests.
