Our second stay here, it is really convenient when going to the Arcada. Fantastic location and it is such a lovely home! There is even a firepit in the backyard now, I don't recall it being there when we stayed in the winter.

Beautiful Remodeled Home

This home was the perfect place to stay since we have family in Saint Charles. The inside of the home has been totally renovated and is beautiful.A few days after we were leaving, they were starting the process of redoing their entire yard. We haven’t seen it yet, but we are definitely planning on staying there again at some point.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely home!

The house is so much bigger than it appears on the outside. Charming, tastefully decorated, clean, excellent location. The bed was very comfortable. I actually loved the bedding. I always bring a sheet with me when I travel, I normally can't stand how rough the bedding feels, sometimes like sandpaper. The sheets here were super soft and so was the blanket, very comfortable. The owner is responsive and an excellent host!

Perfect for Us

Six of us stayed for Galentine’s Day and it was just perfect! Location is super close to downtown, the driveway could have fit all of our cars had we not carpooled, and the host was super easy to contact with questions. We would definitely use this house again in the future!

Lovely Cottage

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in St. Charles. It was walking distance to the downtown area right next to a path down the river. We stayed here with our baby and grandparents and it was a great set up. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

It was a perfect location to spend the night. We were attending a wedding at St Charles Country Club. Quick and easy drive. All was great. The only thing we would have liked were some extra blankets. We looked around and only found a small throw blanket. It was one of the first pretty chilly nights. Not a deal breaker. Everything else was perfect!

Cute Cottage

The house was super cute & clean. The host was very quick to respond to questions. Great location with plenty of food nearby. With traffic it was about an hour & 15 minute drive to downtown Chicago. Highly recommend

St Charles Charm

Fantastic location. Walking distance to town, trails, river, everything. Super nice house. My only comments would be to have the deck furniture cleaned of cob webs, deck blown off and perhaps soap available in the showers. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone

Clean and convenient

This was a clean, comfortable home near the Fox River. It was quiet yet convenient for very short trips to both St. Charles and Geneva. We would definitely stay here again. Be sure to read what amenities are provided.

Great property in a great location.

Very clean and stocked appreciated items like coffee and snacks. Great location to downtown St. Charles and Geneva. Close to the train station to Chicago as well.

Lovely place

Close to a nice walking trail by the Fox river. Stairs are a bit steep, but one bedroom is on the main floor.

Christmas by the river

Thanksgiving Trip

This house is immaculate, well-stocked, stylishly decorated and one of the nicest VRBO properties in which we have stayed. The backyard is huge and the view of the river front the family room is beautiful. In addition, the owners are very communicative, helpful, and kind. We will definitely book this house again.

Holiday Weekend

This was the perfect home for my family’s annual holiday shopping trip. It was beautiful, cozy, and very clean. The host created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and even had a beautiful Christmas tree set up. Highly recommend….you wont be disappointed!

Great spot for a biking getaway

Did a quick getaway with our grown son to do some biking, hiking and music at the Arcada Theater. House was perfect for our needs; comfortable and convenient, well-maintained and clean with comfy beds. Couldn’t ask for more.

Perfect Sisters Getaway

We had a lovely time at this property. It was newly remodeled, and many amenities were in place, which made our stay so enjoyable. Everything was very clean. Nice decor. The main bed was very comfortable. The showers were nice and hot. Private parking at the back of the house was nice and secure. The location was excellent, right along the Fox River. We were able to make our way throughout the area with ease ( St. Charles, Geneva and Elgin). We enjoyed some meals out and would recommend the following restaurants: Buttermilk for breakfast, Craft Urban for lunch and Gia Mia for supper (excellent Italian food!).
