The Race Rocks Townhouse was wonderful. It’s big and bright and steps from the water. You can sit and watch the basin all day. It’s also very close to the centre of Sooke, and to places like Whiffin Spit. And the host was great; very responsive and informative. All-in-all a great spot.

Restful and scenic stay at Race Rocks

We've stayed a number of times at this townhouse. We love the area and the people. The unit itself is always ready for us upon arrival and is well-appointed and clean. Rick's prompt responses are appreciated and we feel welcomed and looked-after. The location is excellent; we use it as a home-base for daily hikes and other activities.

Great location in Sooke!

Well laid out townhouse, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit. Very comfortable inside and out. Close to the water and shopping. Will certainly be back.

Wonderful getaway

The unit was clean and well situated. Plenty of nature to enjoy. The town is a short 5 minute walk. We would certainly go back again. Highly recommend this place. The owner was awesome to deal with. Quick to respond to questions.

Clean and Quiet

It was about a 25-minute ride on a beautiful road in a very quiet neighborhood from where we were working. We're checking. Instructions are super easy. I like that we can park our car in the driveway. It's a beautiful view of the water from the second floor. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials, even coffee and sugar. It's a bit dated decor but overall it's served our purpose and the beds and pillows were very very comfortable like hotel grade quality.. and I like that every bathroom had hand soap and body wash and shampoo. I would definitely stay there again. There's two hot tubs on the property that you can use till 10:00 p.m. Even the one was having maintenance while we were there but it's a very quiet community.
