It was a beautiful beach view. We were right on the beach. The sunrises were beautiful. The cottage had all around windows so any window you looked out you had a beautiful view.

Beautiful home. Lots to do with paddle boards, kayak and dinghy. Gorgeous views, great location. Communication with host was top notch. Overall so much magic here. We will definitely be back!

This is a fabulous place. Two walls of the living area and one wall of the main bedroom are filled with huge picture windows, giving you incredibly gorgeous, nonstop views of the bay—from all over the house. I’d rent this place again for the views alone. But I hope to rent it again for many other reasons, too: a well-stocked kitchen, a very nice and responsive owner, thoughtful amenities, charming decor, and welcoming touches through out. It is wonderful place for a vacation.

This little cottage was lovely! The location was close to the town of Sooke without giving up quite and seclusion. I loved watch the sun rise over the water each morning.

Wonderful stay!

The cottage was perfect inside and out. The view was priceless. The driveway is narrow and steep but provided the privacy we wanted. The only problem I can think of was our time there was too short. Thank you for letting us stay in this gem you have in Sooke, BC.We will definitely come again :)

So relaxed

This was a wonderful stay! Beautiful views, wonderful hosts, fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, outdoor hot water shower. Our weather was fabulous and every person we came in contact with was upbeat, nice and helpful.

The cottage is directly in front of the water and absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed for our relaxing getaway. The surrounding neighborhood is absolutely lovely as well. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Great communication from owners. The views are outstanding! I wouldn’t consider this a walk-to-town property, but it didn’t matter. The location was so serene.

Family weekend away.

Great location right on the water. Comfortable cottage with nice views. We enjoyed sitting on the various decks and around the fire pit on the beach. We would rent this again if possible.

A wonderful place to stay

We had an amazing week here. It was so peaceful and the wildlife was fantastic - daily otter visits, seals, hummingbirds, geese, butterflies. The cottage felt like home immediately and we had everything we needed. This is the nicest place in Sooke we've ever stayed in and we will be back!

Loved this quaint little getaway place. Everything about this quirky little home was perfect. There were 5 of us and we had the best time. We enjoyed a constant fire inside and outside on the beach. Its private and very peaceful ✌️.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners have made the house welcoming and comfortable. Views from inside, and outside were incredible. We highly recommend Sea Wash Cottage. It is convenient to groceries, while in a smaller, quiet location.

Amazing 4 day stay for whole family

Relaxing by the water

This property was exactly as shown. It is extremely quaint and relaxing. There are many sitting areas to view the water, and the view through the front windows is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful

We just loved our stay at Sand Wash Cottage. The location was magical with incredible views, privacy, access and wild life viewing. The cottage had charming decor along with everything we could possibly need. The hot tub overlooking the ocean was used daily!

I have been coming here for a few years now with my daughter and Sea Wash cottage never fails to amaze us. So relaxing, awesome location and beautiful property. Shelly and Jeff are easy to communicate with..highly recommend!

Very Relaxing!

This cottage was exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, private and clean. It was cooler weather when we stayed so we loved having a fire in the morning to take the chill off and relaxing in the hot tub over-looking the bay. Sooke is beautiful little town, laid back, no hustle and bustle, great hiking and the fresh seafood was delicious. This little cottage is a gem and we definitely will be back.

My husband and I purchased this property because you just can't have a house any closer to the water!
Jeff was raised in Sooke so knows the area very well he said this place has it all Fly fishing at your doorstep salmon fishing minutes away and the town of Sooke 2 minutes away.
I love the peace and quiet, watching the wildlife, sipping wine in the hot tub, reading by the fire or entertaining friends with fresh crab caught right next to our float ... heaven.
