Our stay at Colony by the Sea was perfect! The condo was very welcoming, comfortable, and really clean. If you are pool people, the pool was well taken care of and not too busy. The walk to the ocean is quick and the beaches are not crowded. Beautiful place to spend with your family, friends or a solo trip! Check in and out was super easy. Our hosts were great

Great week at the beach

This property was spacious, clean and a great location! The kitchen was well stocked and they had a closet full of beach items for use (beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.). The only thing lacking was toilet paper. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Loved it! Most well stocked kitchen in any rental I’ve been in (utensils, appliances and spices). Tons of games to play with our kids. Couldn’t ask for a quieter place with easier access to the beach. Kids loved the pool. Having the beach chairs etc already there was so helpful. I’m already trying to figure out when to go back.

Loved it here! Plenty of room for myself, two 12 year olds and my mom. Super easy walk to an almost empty beach. Condo was clean, comfortable and had lots of nice touches. (Books, games) Whole complex was well kept. Pool was really nice too. Would absolutely love to stay here again. Already looking at next year!

We've owned our condo for more than 23 years. We're retired from careers in the Navy, managing a pre-school and the aero space industry.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Because we have friends here and the entire "campus" is great and exceptionally maintained.
Our renters have been terrific, taking care of the property as if it was there own. About half of our guests have returned for another year or more with the record being a family that rented over 10 times.
Nearby attractions include Fort Hunt, Beaufort, numerous water sports and many good restaurants at the beach as well as in Morehead City and Beaufort.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The entire condominium is family-focused.
Indian Beach police office and fire department is 1/2 mile away.
Police patrol the condominium several times a day and night.
Fresh shrimp and more, available in season, across the street and 100 yards west.
N.C. Aquarium is 3 miles east at mile Post 7, near the library. (Library has free puzzles).
Adjacent to library is a small, interesting store and second hand books for sales next door. All this is next to the fire station.
Post office near mile Post 4.
Historical Fort Macon, 10 miles east, at end of the island is completely restored with cannon firings near daily.
Limited, gated open air storage facility across the street from condo opposite Colony by the Sea who owns the facility. First come first serve for boat or camper temporary, free storage.
