Very comfortable, well appointed condo. The host has provided many things to make your stay more comfortable from basic condiments to beach chairs, laundry detergent, napkins and cleaning supplies. The views are stunning with no palm trees to block your view of the whales and turtles that you can watch from your lanai.

Stunning Condo. Gorgeous ocean views, beautifully furnished and very clean. The building and grounds are very well maintained as is the pool and hot tub. Location is awesome on the north end of Kaanapali Beach.

What a great property! Beautiful view overlooking the ocean with views of Lanai and Molikai. Beach was perfect. Plenty of food and activities nearby. The hosts were very amenable and answered all our questions promptly. Would definitely stay again.

Mahalo! Within a 15 minute walk you can be at a strip mall , a grocery store, food trucks, the Board Walk that takes you along the North Ka’anapali beach to Duke’s, Ka’anapali Beach and Whaler’s Village. This gives you a few options for your day — if you decide to leave the condo’s lanai! — Judith

Perfect Place

Being on the 11th floor and a stone's throw away from the ocean does allow for some amazing ocean-life viewing; and, the private lanai facing west has some pretty wonderful sunsets! We are located at the north end of Ka'anapali Beach (quieter area) with the Board Walk and the Beach just an elevator ride and a few steps away. Mahalo, Summer, for your kind words. Great views and perfect unit!

We had a great stay. The unit was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. The views are totally spectacular - whales put on a show all day long! The location is great, everything is within a few minutes walk or drive. Evening were quiet, with the waves of the Pacific providing the perfect lullaby. Would definitely stay here again!

Christmas in Paradise

This condo was a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas in Hawaii. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The view from the 11th floor is spectacular; we saw lots of honu (even twice on the beach), whales, and even a shark.

Thank you, Eric! I am in total agreement, as are many of the guests to 1117, that the views from the 11th floor are wonderful! There is nothing like sitting on your private lanai in the morning to start the day with beautiful views of a changing ocean, the wildlife activity, and the sun's play on one or both of the islands, Lanai'i and Molokai'i. There is also nothing like sitting on that same lanai each evening watching a new and glorious sunset with the tropical breezes moving around you, and the darkening sky becoming full of beautiful, twinkling stars! The cares of the day, the week, maybe even the year melt away! I hope that you will remember 1117 with warm memories, and those memories will bring you back to visit. Judith

If you are going to Maui, YOU WANT TO STAY HERE! The property is in a great area, the unit is spacious, clean, and has everything you need. The views are amazing. Communication with the owner was seamless. I would 100% stay here again.

Perfect!

Great views!!

Can’t beat the Mahana and the views from this clean well equipped condo are the best. Saw whales, turtles and even monk seals!! You won’t be disappointed.

We came for a one-time Hawaiian vacation, fell in love with Maui and The Mahana, and decided to make it a permanent part of our lives! We call Cody, WY home, with all its beautiful mountain scenery and Yellowstone Park just an hour away, but the view of the Pacific from the comforts of our own chairs keeps calling us back! We love to travel, but a part of our winters will be spent in this wonderful condo on this most beautiful spot of Maui! Maui has been voted “Best Island” by readers of Conde Nast Traveler for more than a dozen years. Maui has endless activities for vacationers, from fabulous beaches to fantastic dining and nightlife. Come see all that Maui has to offer!
Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in the views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for closer views, you can take an ATV tour, or check out the Zip Lines at Kapalua or the West Maui mountains. Of course, there is the 'Road to Hana', but Hana is not the real objective. The road curves, the waterfalls, the incredible views of the ocean, the many bays (Nuaailua Bay at Keanae and Aunty Sandy's banana bread), or Waianapanapa State Park with its beautiful black sand beach are the main attractions. If you’re curious about what goes on above and/or under the waves, snorkeling or scuba tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. If you don’t want to get wet, there’s even a submarine that can take you into the deep while you view its mysteries from the comfort of a dry cabin. Of course, there is always a sunset cruise around the island for a very memorable evening! But the perfect ending to any day on Maui can be found right on your own private lanai - your 'Home-Away-From-Home", where you can kick off your shoes, and still see and hear the ocean! A Tropical Delight!

The Mahana is unique in the fact that it is within feet of a beach, and has private lanais looking directly at the beach and the Pacific Ocean. Being on the 11th floor offers views above the palm trees and away from those walking directly in front - and in full view - of the lower units. Located on the northwest side of the island, it is at the north end of the wonderful Ka'anapali Beach. That means that all of the benefits of Ka'anapali Beach are within walking distance - great snorkeling, the Boardwalk, restaurants, and Whaler's Village - to name a few - but you are in a quieter, more relaxed setting.
