Honestly, the pictures don’t do the house justice! It’s really nice with comfortable beds, ample seating, and TVs in every room. It’s an easy walk to the dock, too. Unfortunately, when we went in mid-September, the water level was very low. The dock was completely on land, so to do any swimming we had to wade through the mud to get into the water at all, and then another 100 yards to get anywhere deep enough to be submerged. Obviously, the owner can’t control the water levels, but some communication about it would have been appreciated. That said, in peak summer this would be the perfect place to stay!

Thank you for your review! You’re correct that is on us and we will make sure we get the information updated. We are glad you love the house, and I hope you try it out in peak summer. If you get a chance to come back we’ll be sure and offer better pricing for the miscommunication.

Loved the lay out of the house and easy access to water. Would love in the future to see a dock to walk out on and fish or just sit to enjoy the water more.

5 Star Lake Property

My self, husband, and his family stayed 3 nights at this perfect house on Smith Lake. The area was private and peaceful, with very little traffic on this part of the lake. The house was spotless, provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay (such as WIFI, newer appliances, some of the most comfortable beds we'd ever slept in, and more), and plenty of space for 6 adults and a teenager. It also included all of the lake essentials, like fishing equipment, a canoe and two kayaks, and life jackets for all sizes. We also enjoyed a meal at a delicious restaurant that had homestyle cooking, great burgers, and a full bar, and it was less than 10 minutes away! I would definitely recommend this property to everyone I know, and we will be planning to stay again in the near future.
