Perfect apartment to visit NOLA

Loved our stay, perfect place for us. Located near Bourbon Street, close to all the fun. Llyod was very accommodating.

NOLA in the 30’s and 40’s

Centrally located to everything. Rustic atmosphere with old time charm. Every room had the best ceiling fan you could ask for. It was what we wanted going to NOLA. It was perfect for New Orleans history and tradition. If you’re looking for modern updated yuppie decor this isn’t for you.

Excellent property and location

Excellent comfortable property close to Bourbon St. Within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Very responsive owner with any questions. Would definately stay here again next time. Can be a little loud if you are a light sleeper.

It's the French Quarter!

The shabby chic decor was warm, clean and comfortable, and the aged elegance of the home is that which only French Quarter homes uniquely provide. Just a few blocks from Bourbon street, this is a perfect location, but at the same time a negative, in that the noise of the city is intense throughout all hours of the day, from revelers to street sweepers and trash trucks, all makes sleeping here challenging. There was a rodent encounter of which the host moved us into a different unit rather quickly, of which we sincerely appreciated. All in all, a nice place to immerse in the French Quarter culture.

Great space and host… and perfect location

A friend and I went to New Orleans for a conference but rather than wanting to stay at a boring standard hotel were hoping to stay in the French quarter, close to the fun but also a few streets away from bourbon street and the louder noise and crowds. This place was PERFECT!! A few minutes walk to everything!!! And quiet enough. Gorgeous renovated 2 bedroom place, nice living room, good WiFi, great security system/ gate, air conditioning and nice little kitchen, etc. Additionally, Lloyd was fabulous and responded super quickly to a question a few days before and one or two while we are there. I’d definitely recommend and would be happy to go back, and hope to!!

this place is a pit

I wanted to give Lloyd the benefit of the doubt - but I see it is still avaible to rent. Very dirty, one huge cockroach. We had to leave and pay for a hotel. And honesty - you would not want 4 people in there. Not enough room. If you are a big person, can’t even sit on the toilet and have room for your feet - tub in the way. And tub/shower is just waiting for someone to slip and fall.

Good spot for a French Quarter stay!

Place was a great location for staying in the French Quarter! Close to everything, which was super convenient - we were able to walk everywhere. Damn was it loud though, some of the past reviews weren't kidding! We just considered it part of the authentic French Quarter experience. Host was super responsive and answered all our questions quickly, which is always much appreciated. Our only complaint was that the place is clean, yes, but there was a lot of dust on the vents and blinds. This only bothered one person in our party, who happens to be really sensitive to dust allergies. Overall, we felt like we got great value, were close to everything, and had a great trip! Would recommend!

Great apartment

The apartment was in a good location, had amenities we didn't know about (pool!) and was ok size for 4 adults. Only had a couple complaints - the cabinets in the bedroom and living room need to be cleaned - did not want to put clean clothes in them. The smaller bedroom blind would not close so we hung a towel it to be able to sleep in and the listing didn't mention there were 3 stories (we were on 2nd floor) so hauling luggage up and down took more effort. Overall great place and we would book again

Access to property

I’m a disabled person and the stairs were a challenge for me. Second floor apartment.Location was very close to Burbon Street and all the action. Music everywhere and great food.Oldest part of the city so all buildings are old and interesting.

Pre-cruise stop

Had a great time. Great place near Burbon St. night time was noisy but was expected. Easy walking to everywhere in the French Quarter. Really nice tavern left out the door and 1st left and down a block. Great hamburgers and breakfast!! Communications were excellent

Good location, a bit noisy at night

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk everywhere in the French Quarter and along Canal Street, which isn’t far. Bathroom is a bit tight and the bedrooms could use some bedside lamps and tables.
