Poppy's Lodge

WELCOME to Poppy's Lodge. This is a very special, cozy place in the pines. 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin nestled between pine trees in a quiet street in Munds park. A place for storytelling, love and lounging. Poppy wanted a place where memories are made. Come enjoy listening to the pine trees and pure relaxation of the stillness in the pines. There is a perfect fenced in yard for the dogs.
The space
Poppy's lodge is a special little place that just makes you feel happy and peaceful. This is the perfect retreat for a small group of friends, a couple celebrating an anniversary, or a family getaway. Comfortable beds and cozy blankets. During the snowy winter months the fireplace is perfect to sit in front of and relax. Sit in a rocking chair on the porch and watch the snowfall, and the pine trees sway and know your dogs are secure in the fenced-in yard.
Munds park is much cooler than Phoenix but can get warm in the summer. While we do not have an A/C we do have an evaporative cooler which works amazing for such a small space. We do hope you find your stay comfortable.

-Guests must be 21+ and if new on the platform I do require a valid photo ID
-$70 per pet per visit will be collected. Two dogs maximum and have breed and weight restrictions. No Husky’s, German Shepard, Alaskan malamutes, collie’s and dogs over 50 lbs.

The whole cabin is accessible. the garage is not accessible for guests. Parking is available to the right and left of the cabin. Room for 3 cars.
Other things to note
Munds park can get a lot of snow. A four wheel drive is recommended during snowy months.

We had a great time, the property was set up in a way that we could put up blockades for the baby and not have to worry about him getting hurt, which was great for peace of mind. The property was warm and welcoming. Thank you! We will return.

The cabin was great tho a few more lamps around the sofas would be nice and access to a few more wall plug ins. Over all very comfortable and enjoyable. So peaceful being in the pines.

First VRBO experience

At least 3 mousetraps in home and the traps may be needed for the cooked food (bacon) left out in kitchen. Carpet & couch with several stains. Had one face cloth which looked like a household rag; corrected by owner within 24 hrs. No A/C and owner has an evaporative cooler to cool home. Renter did not know how to use it (no instructions, originally used a cover to hide cooling unit)

Quiet getaway

Everything was cozy and thoughtful. Sue (host) was super helpful and easy to contact. The place has everything most people--or dogs!--would need. (It made me wish we'd brought our dog.) We actually booked this to be near Sedona hiking only to realize that while we were close to Sedona as the crow flies, we weren't so close as the car drives. No worries, though... When we wanted to head that way, the drive was easy with beautiful views, and there are some good hikes close by also. We enjoyed our time and would stay here again!

Awesome cozy little cabin

Everything was just like the pictures! Super cozy, quiet neighborhood close to hiking trails and dog friendly. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed! Will definitely be staying here again!

Munds park escape

Quiet community. Some highway noise. Nice small cabin. We really enjoyed sitting on front porch with our Golden and watching the day go by. Only real complaint is regarding the pillows in the master bedroom Extremely hard and uncomfortable. Met our expectations.

Amazing, cozy cabin!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Poppys Lodge! Very clean and cosy! Our family enjoyed watching the start at night! Its a friendly neighborhood, everyone waving at each other! Perfect getaway!

Poppy’s Lodge cabin was so nice for rest and relaxation in the cool pines. Super easy to find from the I17, parking right next to the cabin for easy unloading, lots of pine trees for shade. The front porch and rocking chairs were our hang out spot, doggies chilled with us. Kitchen is pretty well equipped for preparing meals. Bed was comfortable too. Lots of walking and hiking paths, friendly “neighbors” and cool breezes. I’m so thankful I chose this hidden gem for our retreat post cancer treatment, just what the doc ordered.

Darling cottage

It was a perfect spot to escape to with our dog along for the fun. Cute fenced yard in front of a covered porch with rocking chairs. Very comfy bed, newer TVs, and a quiet neighborhood with tall pine trees. Very clean and our host was very nice. No complaints!

Pine Lodge cabin

Loved the fenced yard for pups. We took them for walks throughout the neighborhood and ran into others doing the same. Master bed was very comfortable! Fireplace was the perfect ambience. Wish there were more pots and pans. Unfortunately, the ones there were all teflon and the teflon was trashed. I only mention this because we cooked all meals at the cabin. I did take one of the porch rockers inside (I love a rocking chair). Thanks for the t.v. which was easy to use.

Great cozy cabin

We had such a nice stay at poppys cabin. All the amenities and supplies you need. A fantastic front patio with a fenced in area was perfect for us to sit and enjoy the evening breezes, while our dog played in the yard. It’s a special place. Perfect location with immediate access to everything in Munds Park. Will definitely be back.
