The views of the ocean were great. Did have some construction going on next door, but at least they did not start work until after 9am and stopped around 5 pm.

Great location!

Location was great! Oceanfront porch was awesome. The layout of the condo was good; it just wasn’t very clean. It could use a deep cleaning.

My family and I have been vacationing in Carolina Beach for 15 to 20 years and have stayed in numerous locations, we love the area, especially the south and where this unit is located. The beach views are fantastic. The room layout is really good, the stairs are little difficult for older folks carrying luggage, etc. without having an elevator we would give a much better review, but the check-in experience was not good and this has to do with the rental company not the unit, we had been traveling for hours and my wife needed to use the facility and was told she could wait until we got checked in and use the restroom at the unit instead, we were not told about only being allowed one vehicle to park prior to booking and arriving and Weir told that additional vehicles could park on the street and pay for parking or they offered a place to park at a church that was one and a half miles down the street and exchange for a small daily donation to the church, city barking is five dollars an hour until 8 PM where you can park until 9 AM for free, which begs the question for a unit that sleeps six how are you supposed to get six people their luggage and supplies, etc. and do it all with one parking space. Although the rental company agreed to let us park one of the vehicles at their office, it was still a half a mile away and created difficulties when other vehicle was needed. Also there was no storage available for beach, chairs, umbrellas, etc. We won’t be using this one again

We have stayed at this property 3 different times. I do not like how the property has keys to enter. I like having the keypad entry as it was prior. Being on the beach, i dont want to have to keep up with something else. The door needs to also be fixed with the locks, because it's very hard to even get into.the property. Also, if you have children, then this property wouldnt be ideal due to having to carry beach toys & wagons up and down the stairs everyday. When we used to stay at this property, we had access to the downstairs storage closet to lock our stuff in. When weve stayed prior, the property came with extra tissue paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies; however, this time we had to purchase everything. The cleaning could have been a lot better, because first day in the property, we found an empty cigarette box under the couch. The dishes in the cabinets all had to be cleaned prior to using them. It's a lot of little things that, I feel, could have been improved. The view is amazing and is always our selling point to coming back to this location; however, after this visit- it will be our last.
