Ideal location on the OBX

Description of the property is 100% true to form. Perfect house in a great location for a week at the beach. Also, the cargo elevator to the kitchen on the top floor is a huge perk! Would definitely stay there again 🤙🏼

The whole family loved the place. Great that it is so close to the beach

We loved the space and how many bedrooms and bathrooms there were - that’s helps with several families in the same house. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking tools and dishes - we ate in every night and cooking was easy and serving everyone in the large dining room . We all agreed we’d love to stay there in the future.

An amazing spacious house in a perfect location.

The location was amazing! If you want a spacious, well equipped home please rent this house. It was nice to have the beach a short distance away. The area wasn't too touristy. We would definitely rent from Jane again!

Perfect location!

Lovely house perfectly suited for our family of 5. Plenty of space inside and on decks. Access to ocean just off the deck made location of the house even better. Plan to return.

Splendid Stay at Seaclusion

Very well appointed property with everything we needed for our stay in early June 2021. House was very clean and aesthetically pleasing as well as very comfortable. Owners were extremely accommodating and quickly addressed a few minor items that needed attention while we were there. Would highly recommend this property to others!

Seaclusion is no illusion!

We really enjoyed our stay at Seaclusion. The short walk to a wide open beach puts the location in the top 5% on the whole island. The sunrise views were awesome. There are not shortage of amenities. Good selection of restaurants nearby as well. We'll be back.

Wonderful beach week

We had a fantastic week at Seaclusion with three families with teenage children. There was plenty of space for everyone, the house was well-equipped and clean, and the beach was uncrowded and private. Jane was absolutely great at communication -- she responded immediately to any questions and was eager to be sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Great vacation!

Seaclusion is one of the best houses in the area. Clean, comfortable, right next to the dune. Beautiful views from the deck. The elevator for luggage and groceries is a great feature. Jane was very helpful and hospitable. Always there when you need her. Will definitely keep in mind for the future.

Great place to stay at OBX

Seaclusion was a very nice place to host our leadership retreat! Plenty of space to meet, eat and even enjoy a game of pool. The kitchen is spacious and very well stocked. The view from the deck is fabulous. The house is clean and it's the little details that helped to make our stay special. Jane even check on us with a phone call after we had arrived. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Outstanding rental and location! This house has everything you need for a great fishing vacation. It's close to the beach and also close to the on-ramp to drive on the beach. Kitchen is fully socked with all the pots, pans and utensils you'll need. Everything is clean and modern. Just a great place!

Seaclusion was Seasational!

The accommodations were excellent and our stay was very enjoyable. The views and beach...amazing. My family was able to come together and we had plenty of room for all. The kitchen was stocked with every necessary tool for cooking and entertaining. I highly recommend this vacation property. The owners were also very attentive and helpful throughout our vacation. we would go back again and again. Thank you for the memories!!

Much needed retreat

Our family had a very pleasant stay at Seaclusion. The house has enough room for kids & adults to spread out, and a large dining table for everyone to come together for dinner. The beach is beautiful where the house is located. The house is very clean, and well decorated. There is a master bedroom on the main level, which was great for my father who has trouble navigating stairs. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again!

Our beach is one of the best, wide open and plenty of room to run around without bumping into other families. Shore Details does a super job of cleaning the house between each renter. Comfortable

Seaclusion has a great floorplan, perfect for our group of 9 adults and 4 children. We have been renting beach houses for over 10 years and this was the first one with a kitchen so well supplied, (dishes, coffee makers, untensils, etc. pots and pans) water and ice in the refrigerator door was a big plus. Cargo lift was very nice to have. Owner was very easy to work with.

Great value for Ocean Front Rental

Clean, neat ,organized home. Best stocked kitchen my oldest daughter has ever stayed in. Visits the OBX quite often. Great views at sunrise and sunset. Beach is 100 yds over the dune. Easy access to Sound and the rest of OBX towns. Memorable two week stay. The 10 and 13 year olds grandkids couldn't get enough of the Ocean. Must do again. RHP

Great view of sunrise from top deck.

Although we had a lot of clouds, we had a wonderful time. The property is well cared for and well appointed. Jane was very helpful and responsive. The area is beautiful and a wonderful place to visit. There are so many restaurant options it was difficult to choose. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. The sand dune between the house and the beach was something. We watched dolphins one morning, quite a treat. Thank you, Jane, for your time and information.

Glad you enjoyed your stay at Seaclusion. The dunes are always shifting and are such good protection for the ocean front houses. Sometimes the walk is more challenging than other years. I am glad you were able to enjoy some of our local restaurants in the area.

Room to get together and places for Seaclusion

The rental process was flawless. The property is not new and neither are the furniture. But everything was in good shape, clean and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and let someone else in your group have the Master king bedroom. Take the top floor. You’ll thank me later.

Sorry you had problems with the King bedroom, not sure what the problem was. We do update the furniture regularly, new dining table, small sofa, but furniture has been on terrible back order for the last two years. Hopefully the mattress were okay, never had a complaint about them in the past.

Great House to Share with Friends!

My my friends and I stayed in this house after our college graduation and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. There are some good restaurants nearby and the Food Lion is very accessible. The house's location also made for a nice day trip to Duck Donuts, Kitty Hawk, the Wright Brother's memorial, Jockey's Ridge and putt putt. The views from the house are fantastic whether you're watching the sun rising or setting and we spent many evenings enjoying the many decks with their plethora of chairs and hammocks! There's also an ice cream store thats right at the edge of the neigborhood- about a 2 minute walk. I know I and all my friends would highly recommend Seaclusion.

I'm so glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay at Seaclusion. The location is so convenient for trips down towards Hatteras or up to Nags Head. I was glad to see you enjoyed the Conery, a special treat when our grandchildren come, nothing says beach to them like a walk to the Conery. Great family spot at OBX

This was our first time visiting the Outerbanks as well as renting a house on VRBO. It was a great experience! The home is spacious and accommodated our group very well. The kitchen was stocked very nicely, and clean. Unfortunately there was only an outside park style grill, so for us this was a negative. A nice charcoal or propane grill would be much better. Jane was incredibly responsive to any questions. An air conditioning unit quit on day four and she was quickly able to get a service tech on-site and had the unit running to keep us all comfortable. Overall a very nice house and great location.

My family of 6, along with 6 of our friends, visited Seaclusion in June. This 5 BR, 5 bath home was perfect for us! My teenage son and his friend stayed in the downstairs room which was adjacent to a gameroom, so they had their own private place to hang out. This home is spacious, well-appointed, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The views from all 3 decks are outstanding. This particular home has the path to the beach right outside the back door, so it was very convenient to walk to the beach. There are numerous books and games to use. The great room has a large dining table that accomodates 12 people, and the kitchen is well-equipped, so we cooked some great dinners and all ate together. We all loved our stay here!!

We love spending time at the ocean and have been coming to the Outer Banks since we were married 58 years ago. Our children have been coming since toddlers and are now bringing our grandchildren. They feel this is their favorite vacation and look forward to it every year. Time at Seaclusion is truly a great time to reset and get close to family or friends in the quiet peaceful remoteness of the island. It will be a vacation to remember, with plenty of space to spread out or enjoy those special family moments. The Outer Banks lifestyle will bring you back year after year. The ferry trip to Ocracoke is a must as is a day fishing on a charter or The Miss Oregon Inlet sunset cruise. The area seafood is so fresh and tasty and plenty of great restaurants to choose from. We love sharing our special place with all those who would like to experience the barrier island living of the Outer Banks.

We love the neighborhood, it's quiet and safe for biking or just walking around. The ocean sounds are so relaxing and star filled nights are a sight to behold.

We love to walk the beach in the early morning searching for shells and other sea treasures. The fishing is great from the beach, or on the sound or on an ocean charter. Surfing, or using a boogie board is a great way to catch that next wave. Bike rentals are nearby for even more exercise around the area. A must visit is a trip to Hatteras Lighthouse, Ocracoke Island, and the quaint town of Manteo with the NC aquarium. Great for those rainy beach days with children.
