The house was very nice in a great location walking distance to So Congress. It was perfect for my family getting together for Thanksgiving. We only made one breakfast there but everything was there for more meal prep if desired.

Great location and host

We enjoyed our stay. Location can’t be beat, a block from all the major restaurants but somehow also a quiet street. House was cleaned and Chad very communicative. Backyard and back patio is nice!

Lovely Austin house

We had a great stay for our son’s college graduation. The house is perfectly located for enjoying South Congress, and even though it’s just a block away, the street is quiet and authentic old Austin. Excellent communication and information from the host.

Perfect location in SOCO!

We had a lovely stay at Chad's property, which could not be in a better location for the shopping and dining in the South Congress neighborhood, plus an easy drive/Uber to downtown, Barton Springs, or anywhere else you want to be in the city. Chad was always prompt to respond to any questions or requests and was easy to work with throughout. This is a rental I would happily return to!

Chad is the best host one could hope for, providing a beautiful set up home that’s within steps of the best of South Congress. Everything that one might need is provided and in working order. The dining areas inside and outside are generous and have enough seating for large groups. Wonderful home and host, that’s why it’s our second stay there and absolutely will not be our last! Thanks Chad.

Great stay!

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Chad's wonderful home. We were wanting to stay where we could walk to restaurants and shops, and this was the best location in Austin to be able to do that. To our surprise, even though we were only one block away, we heard no noise at all from South Congress, and we were there over New Year's Eve! The house was perfect for our group, comfortable and homey, and was one of the best equipped rentals we've stayed in. Thank you so much, Chad, for sharing your home with us, and thank you for the inviting atmosphere that greeted us when we arrived.

Perfectly-Located Haven

My team was in town for SXSW, our first big trip since the pandemic, so having a cozy home base after all the networking, events, and parties was important. Chad's home was perfectly located close to SoCo restaurants (we never had a bad meal!) and a straight shot to the Convention Center and downtown. We could not have asked for a better place with plenty of space for the three of us. Whenever we had any issues, Chad was immediately responsive and attentive via text. We'd love to come back again!

Cute, clean house in a great location

Location, location, location. Neighborhood is so fun. House is cute, very clean, as pictured. Host was very accommodating and communication was great. I think it's important for potential renters to be aware that there is no longer a backyard grassy area (at least for time being) and no hammock as pictured. Backyard pics are a bit dated, appears most people have replaced their backyards/garages with a second house, so fewer trees, not quite so secluded. We were out for much of our short stay and this did not interfere; we were still able to use the back porch; however it is helpful to know what to expect when you arrive. Cheers!

This is a short-term project that was scheduled for completion this summer, but delayed for reasons beyond my control and I shared this info with the guest prior to arrival. It is new construction in the same footprint as the former garage and a portion of the yard was occupied with wood for framing, which has since been completed and the yard is open again. New pictures will be updated asap. This was unfortunately a timing issue and most of the construction activity took place just prior to the guest's visit. This was a minor inconvenience that did not affect their stay, but to accommodate them I met them at the home upon arrival and gave them 2 bottles of wine to enjoy. The guests had a very enjoyable time as evidenced by their review and texts to me stating such.

Chads house was clean and check in was easy. We had plenty of room for our group of 6. The location of the house was also great for walking to shops and food.

Fantastic home in an amazing location!

The home was comfy, beautiful and super well equipped. Great bed linens and towels. It had all we needed for a fun Austin stay for our group of 5. And the location so close to South Congress but in a quiet neighborhood—just can’t be beat! Chad was very responsive in booking and was right on top of a small question we had on the TV. Really recommend this home and we hope to return!!

Perfect for our stay

House was in great condition and included all the amenities we needed. Chad was communicative and helpful. Went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. House has a wonderful back porch where we spent hours and hours enjoying each others' company. Wonderful location for walking to restaurants and shopping.

Christmas in Austin

We stayed at this property over Christmas in order to be with other family in the area and enjoyed the spaciousness and layout of the home as well as the deck out back in the 80-degree weather.

Great Location and Host

The location and host are amazing. Chad is easy to communicate with and extremely helpful with his recommendations. The house is very clean and well located; an easy walk to nice spots on South Congress. The suggestions I would have is that the second bathroom needs to be updated soon, along with the mattresses in the second and third bedrooms. Regardless, overall it was a great experience!

Not only can the location not be beat, but the home has plenty of room to move around in with very spacious living room, kitchen, and deck for just hanging out. The FREE PARKING is a huge benefit in this very popular area of town where parking is at a premium.
