Other things to note
You can walk to everything in SoCo, South First, and Downtown. South Congress is 100 steps away, but you'll be staying in an oasis of peace. The heritage live oaks on the property are like a slice of heaven. The 2nd Street District is a mile away. Zilker park is 1.5 miles. Rainey Street is 1.5 miles. The Hike and Bike trail is 1 mile. Walk, Uber, Scooter....everything is close!

What a fabulous home in the absolute perfect location. Everything was wonderful! Thanks to Grant for an amazing weekend in Austin. From the easy check in, to the yummy snacks and drinks, to the super comfortable beds - our girls weekend away was pure perfection.

Home was beautiful with a well equipped kitchen. Host provided welcome snacks and a warm welcoming note. Had some difficulty getting check in info, but all worked out in the end.

This place is absolutely awesome! Might very well be the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. Just perfect. 3 masters, so nobody got stuck in the "kid's room." Very well appointed, and great location. Just a couple of blocks from South Congress. Tons of places to eat, drink, shop, etc.Grant, our host, was a great guy as well. Super helpful, and just a good dude.Highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to Austin. I certainly will the next time I go.

This place is awesome! Nicely decorated with a cool modern vibe. Very clean. Had snacks available when we arrived. Beds were super comfy! The location is ideal! Just a block off of Congress so easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. We were in town for ACL. Leisurely 45 minute walk to the fest or a quick Uber. Michael is a great host. Super quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, spacious and with everything you need

We really enjoyed our stay at Grant’s place. It is a very nice an cozy house, all three rooms are very spacious with big bathrooms. Nicely decorated and with all the appliances that you may need. Grant is a great host, he responds in minutes any request you need and he welcome us with a nice note and complementary food and beverages. I would defenetely stay again at Grant’s place!

At the end of Congress St with its mix of traditional Texan stores (boots, hats, vintage) and better big name brands (Alo, Sezane, Rag n Bone, Madewell) and really great local eateries:Joann’s Fine Foods, Café No Sé, Perla’s, June’s and the Salty Donut. There is also a 7-Eleven 2 blocks away which always come in handy. No liquor store but can buy wine and beer at 7-Eleven and the Tiny Grocer for a bigger selection and elevated deli choices. When entering/exiting or using gps make sure you add the “B” to the address and go in the side alley off of the cross street behind the main house. Accommodations were very clean, new, and comfy (great beds and linens), decor vibe was fun and bright and everything we needed was there. Mainly we used linens, towels, washer/dryer, keurig and fridge. There was shampoo conditioner and soap and one hair dryer. There are balconies and a small enclosed outdoor space but we did not use as it was too chilly. TVs in all bedrooms and living room but we didn’t use them. Everything was lovely for 5 adult women (two who also have rental properties so they are extra picky) and we would recommend and stay again.

South Austin (SoCo) is the groovy area of Austin. Known for its eclectic scene, it's peaceful and bustling at the same time. A block off South Congress and you're in an oasis of calm. A block away and you can be in one of the most historic live music joints in Austin. SoCo is authentic Austin.

If you don't like cool and hip this ain't for you. But if you like to be in a brand new house, with stylish everything, in an oasis of heritage trees and a block from the most happening place in Austin....you'll probably love it here.
