Just what I was looking for myself and my dog for a quick work trip. Good location and easy access. I was only there for two nights so it wasn't a big deal, but the bed was a little uncomfortable, and I couldn't get the hot water to work in the bathroom. The bathroom is also in the loft so getting up to go in the middle of the night is an adventure. But it was a great price and fit my needs just fine.

Thank you for the wonderful stay in Austin. Communication with the owner was great, access great. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We found it to be a very walkable, quiet location. Shout out to The Wheel for providing wonderful craft cocktails and some great local food tips to nearby food trucks and coffee shops. The owners are amazing and they give amazing privacy as thier home is close bye. The studio is very spacious and calming. The bed is super awsome as well as the one upstairs in the loft. I would and will recommend this studio to anyone that wants a cool safe place to chill and see what Austin offers. (AMAZING FOOD AND PEOPLE!)

Cute spot, quiet natural setting, would stay again

Jana was easy to communicate with, had some great local tips, and her place was a perfect hideaway within short distance to everything. The back yard was always alive with birds, and the space was much bigger than it appears in the pictures. 100% would stay again!

Weekend Trip

Everything was good about property except there was no mention that the only bathroom was up steep loft stairs. My husband has nerve damage in his feet and if I would have known about location of only bathroom I could have made a better decision for him to safely navigate. We had to leave and find a restroom for him to use.

Sweet host and great location

Jana is a kind and sweet host. Her place is in a great locations with a tons of food and entertainment. Although the studio is behind her place but she gave us our privacy. She was very understanding about our dogs and their noise they made. Thank you again for a good experience in our first time in Austin.

Perfect Location; Interesting Floor Plan

For the price point, you won't find a better location. South Congress is a block away, and the main shopping and dining on South Congress is a short scooter ride or drive up the road. Even so, the neighborhood is quiet and cozy. The unit's bathroom is upstairs, and those stairs are no joke. We were grateful to find a kid/pet friendly property, but I worried about both (and me) going up and down those stairs. Oh, the back patio is fantastic. The owner uses it frequently, but she was very nice.

Texas wedding stay

The guest is a unique, fun space in a great location with lots of great restaurants and coffee shops near by. Host Jana was awesome, she was right there to take off anything you needed. Thank you so much for being a great host!!

Amazing Home!

I came to Austin with my three college roommates and stayed in Jana’s property and it was so perfect for us! In a great location near SoCo, extremely clean, and Jana made the check in process seamless. Our favorite moments were relaxing on the beautiful screened porch in the morning. Would definitely recommend!!

SOCO studio

Really nice property in a nice quiet location within walking distance or short car ride to many local shops, restaurants, and bars. Jana the owner is great as well, very helpful and there if you need anything but also non-obtrusive. One minor inconvenience was that the bathroom was upstairs, and descending the stairs might be a bit tricky for those with disabilities or perhaps the elderly. Other than that, really nice place to stay.

Excellent Stay in a Wonderful Location.

Jana was an excellent host for us and very quickly replied to texts whenever we had any questions. The location is through a gate in the back garden easily accessed with a wonderful enclosed patio area where my roommate and I read books to start our morning. It is a short walk to multiple coffee spots and a skip and a jump from many excellent restaurants due to the phenomenal location. I absolutely recommend checking out Cosmic Coffee right down the street when you stay here! There were plenty of fresh towels and clean linen for our stay as well as complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash with anything you need in the kitchen for meals if you choose to stay in during the evening. Free parking was a huge plus and the neighborhood was quiet. We had our lil dog Chaco with us and he greatly enjoyed meeting the other dogs of the neighborhood as we went on walks to explore the fun area! Overall - Stay here if you are looking for a fun getaway!

SOCO Studio

We enjoyed our stay at the SOCO Studio. The location fit our needs perfectly. Our host Jana was very friendly and repaired the handrail to the loft the same day we reported it. The studio was very comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the fenced yard as we were traveling with our two pups. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Austin.

Great place

Good and safe neighborhood, 10 mins from downtown, close to everything else. Owners house is on property, but she’s very courteous and gives you your space. Lovely screened in porch and garden. Place feels bigger than it is, plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 of us shared a bed and the other 2 had their own, could fit another person on the fold out couch. No privacy for sleepers as it’s open to everything. We didn’t mind it as we were just a group of friends. Does have a steep inclined stairs and the only bathroom is upstairs. We ranged from 26-56 and used the stairs fine, even after a visit to 6th street (if you know you know lol) this is a residential neighborhood and like I said you share the space with the owner, so be prepared to be quiet. We didn’t want to disturb anyone so we kept noise to a minimum. All in all great place and location on a budget!

Great neighborhood

My husband and I were in town for a music festival and we're happy with how close we were to a lot of good restaurants. Ride shares were also always close. The studio was very clean and had up to date amenities and the home owner was available if we had any issues.
