Please note this listing is to rent the lower level home only. Not the entire Chalet. The pictures show the downstairs only. The owners reside in the upstairs home. Thank you. Here at Eagle River House you’ll enjoy a clean comfortable space with all the amenities and comforts of home. Enjoy our beautiful forest and walking trails. Relax on our private rock beaches. Visit the falls and see the root cave. Enjoy fishing, swimming and cozy nights by the fireplace. Our newest addition is the hot tub and walk out deck overlooking the river. A perfect getaway and memorable vacation!
The space:
Enjoy a peaceful and luxurious stay in our spacious lower level home. This five star Chalet home is set on the beautiful Ashtabula River with access to 3,000 feet of river to the east and west with several access points to the water. This 1400 square foot space has all the amenities. The master suite has a King size bed. The second master bedroom has 2 double beds. Jack and Jill bathroom with double sinks and a huge double shower. The bunk bed room has double size beds on the bottom and single size beds on top. A spare full size bathroom is next to the bunk bed room. Each room has a large flat screen HD TV. Beautiful modern kitchen with bar chairs and large dining table with a bench. Lots of outdoor spaces with picnic tables, patio furniture and a grill. A view of the falls and hiking trails on our 12 acre property. Modern indoor and outdoor fireplaces. We now have a new hot tub that seats 7 guests. Also we recently built a new private observation deck overlooking the river!

Please note: The main house upstairs is the owners residence and will be occupied by the them most of the time. We do have 3 small dogs that roam the property and are very friendly. Service support pets are welcome. Your lower level home is completely private, locked and secure. We do not share any space with your level home. We have a backup generator in case of power outage and we always plow the snow in winter.

We are located not far from the highway, only minutes from the famous Smolen-Gulf covered bridge/Indian trails park and Brants apple orchard. Not far from Geneva on the Lake and SPIRE institute. Close to the Harbor, Walnut Beach and Lake Shore Park. See the magnificent Lake Erie with boating and fishing access. Visit our local wineries and enjoy downtown shopping. See the local museums, covered bridges and historical sites. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Other things to note:
Small children should be monitored when walking close to roped off areas due to steep drop off. No guests are allowed to cross the safety ropes or guard rails.
