Great spot

One of the few options for condo/pool at Tybee. Facilities were great easy to access, condo was large. Would come back again and would recommend.

Great place!

We found this condo when Milton cut our Florida trip short and we really lucked out! The condo was very clean, property was well maintained, and very pet friendly. The Deck restaurant has great food and the pool was wonderful. We did have to buy a mattress topper for the sleeper sofa, the springs were poking our kids. There was no place in the kitchen to put food up; but the kitchen itself was well stocked. One pool is heated which was great! Would definitely recommend and we plan to come back!

check in process was a bit confusing. it would have been nice to have instructions on what the process would be, but we did book the day before so partially our fault. everyone we met were nice, facility was nice also.

It was spotless and VERY safe!! They had a pool, an onsite restaurant that was fabulous, a beach view from our condo and parking was great!! We were even able to bring our fur baby and they had a dog park!!! The office staff was bar none the nicest and most professional people !! I just cant say enough good things about our visit!! And I cant wait to go back!!!

Additional Information Needed

While the property and the management were nice enough, there was no warning about an event taking place during our stay. The event included being attacked by locals with water guns even after being asked to stop. More warning is needed by the management for guests who arrive and have no idea an event is taking place.

The grounds and pools are well maintained. The staff is wonderful and Stacey is a gem. Her concern to take care of any issue you may have is dealt with immediately.We like quiet beaches and locations. It’s not Myrtle Beach which we really appreciate. We never left the condo except for groceries or grab supper. Great patio pool area, nice beach, comfortable condo. We can’t ask for more.

Reviewer Comments: Clean, friendly staff at front desk and lady who cleaned our room was so sweet!*HOWEVER*, we were kept awake ALL NIGHT by traffic outside (engines revving, but such is life) and kids playing tag up and down the hallways both on our floor outside our door, and above us. It reverberated throughout our condo, and kept our teens awake as well. We tried to get them to stop, to no avail. It's like the parents were out partying and left the kids alone to do as they please. Since it's not a hotel, there's no one to complain to (the rules suggest calling the cops... honestly?). We were exhausted and dragging the next morning. While the room was lovely and the location is great, the horrific noise levels of kids playing into the wee hours of the morning was just too much for us to ever consider staying here again.

We had a great time. Easy check-in & check-out process. The condo was very nice, a very few items could have made it excellent, TV explanation guide, wine bottle opener, extra frying pan, swiffer sheets for mop/broom, very small things, nothing major. Overall, a great weekend getaway.

Have been coming here for years! Stayed back in the late 90's when it was just an L shaped motel. The grounds and courtyard are beautiful and very well maintained. Beautiful to see at night too when it's all lit up. A must place to stay when visiting Tybee.

The resort was very nice, well maintained grounds. Once oriented easy walk to beach. Our only issue was they were doing work on cement walk on our floor very loud, one evening from about 8pm until after 9pm, could not hear anything and next night again but not as lone. Called both times and told there was delay during day it really at night. What about those with children? That was only negative. Would stay again.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.
