Do not move furniture around. Do not move microwave because it will blow the circuit breaker in kitchen. Housekeepers charge $100 to reset it.
Keep storm doors closed once items are in and out Put umbrellas down when not using back patio or you will be charged $200.00 for replacement.

Very nice clean house in a nicely well kept neighborhood. The appeal was exactly like the owners mentioned, "back in time feel" which was very refreshing and relaxing. Enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was planned and organized for easy access, and smooth check out.

Ironman weekend

Only a few blocks from Ironman 70.3 transition and swim start. Only .8 miles from beach and restaurants. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Nice ane clean house. The one queen bed in the room to the left upstairs needs deplaced as you slide to the middle. I also wish it wasn't asked to strip the bed sheets when we already pay a cleaning fee. Great place though.

In the Heart of everything

Our 3-generation family really enjoyed our stay at the Betsie Bay House! It's an easy walk to the beach, to the bay, and to downtown restaurants - even for toddler! Just off the beaten path, the slower pace of life is just we needed for a week to wind down.

Beach vacation

This is a great location; the house is on a quiet residential street that is only a 10-15 minute walk to a beautiful public beach, and even closer to shopping, dining, bars, groceries, and laundromat. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating for groups, so it's great for entertaining or a larger group. We almost always cook all our meals, and while the cooking area is snug, we've always been able to make it work. And the kitchen is very well stocked with lots of cookware and anything you would need. The house has a bunch of games, and toys/equipment you might want at the beach (chairs, an umbrella, etc.) We've always enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Rental

The home is well equipped with everything we needed for 8 people - beach equipment, games, puzzles, lots of table space, well equipped kitchen, and cleaning supplies. Perfect location close by 2 parks, grocery store, and downtown Frankfort. We always found parking near the beach if the kids weren’t up for a stroll.

Great house!

We had a great time at Betsy Bay House! The yard is beautiful. The house itself was spotless. The reason we gave it four stars on cleanliness, was due to the fact the grills were too dirty/rusty to use. We were looking forward to a few family barbecues while on vacation. The beds/bedding and living room furniture are a little uncomfortable and could us an upgrade. We would rent this cool house every year if that happened.

Great location

It was great to have a nice front porch to sit on and a good-sized back yard for a fire. We walked 2 blocks to several wonderful restaurants.

Fishing trip

The home is very nice and is in a great location. The home is in the downtown area of Frankfort which is as you can walk to the boat launch and to the local shops.

Stay in Frankfort

The location was great as it was walking distance to downtown and the lake. The front porch was a great spot to hangout, eat, play games and relax. The property itself could use some updating. It would have also been nice to have some more bath towels as there were 5 of us staying for 3 nights.

Frankfort

Nice, large home. Plenty of space. Great neighborhood. Beautiful outdoor area and porch. At first, we were concerned about lack of dishwasher and laundry but both were non-factors for our stay. Our 6th visit to Frankfort and among our best. Our greatest distance from beach, so far, but beautiful home helped make it worth the walk.

What a perfect house for a family get-a-way near Lake Michigan! Beach is just blocks away and cottage is clean and updated. Everything you need is right there: bonfire pit, grill, front porch, quiet neighborhood and just short drive to wonderful dune hikes and bike trails!

Great house for our annual girls trip!

We absolutely loved this house and location for our annual girls trip. We really enjoyed the front porch and back patio areas for meals, snacks and hanging out. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about anything you would need. The living rooms and dining room were comfortable and spacious. Two full bathrooms was a definite perk. The four bedrooms were more than adequate. The only complaint we had was the beds are a little hard - a foam topper would do wonders for them:) We absolutely loved the little beach town! We would definitely return!

Great Place

Had a great time staying here with my family for Father’s Day!! Spacious and clean. Loved the bonfire and backyard. The home is beautiful. Our host was easy to contact if we needed and was very professional. Would def recommend and hope to stay again soon. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay :)

Great place in a hidden gem town

We stayed at Betsy house while we were on a golf trip to Arcadia Bluffs. Nice easy check-in, very responsive host, very nice location in a quiet neighborhood and a place as described. Nicely decorated with a lot of amenities. Wish there were more towels is my only feedback. This was first trip to Frankfort but the town is many many things to offer and we would stay here on our next trip.

Great fall getaway!

My partner and I had a great time in Frankfort celebrating our engagement. The house was as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located near downtown restaurants and the beach. The upstairs renovated bathroom was gorgeous! We also enjoyed learning a bit about the history of the house. The beds were a little bit on the firm side, but overall, we had a great experience!

Betsie Bay House is a one-of-a-kind house for vacationers who see their accommodations as part of their vacation experience.

Situated a couple blocks from Main Street and Lake Michigan and adjacent to Frankfort's downtown district. Our home recalls earlier times when residents would exchange gossip from their front porches. Betsie Bay House has that porch, as well as updated living space, with the amenities for vacationers who enjoy something special.

Betsie Bay House offers many unique attributes. An older home with spacious living room and air conditioning, Roku TV and secured WiFi ; large dining room with table for nine; main floor bedroom with queen size bed, fully furnished kitchen with all your basic cooking supplies; full size bathroom on each floor; upstairs features large master bedroom with queen size bed, ceiling fan and walk-in closet; third bedroom with queen size and twin size bed, ceiling fan and walk in-closet. The fourth bedroom has two twin bed, ceiling fan and walk-in closet.

Downtown Frankfort is just a couple blocks away, where you can enjoy dining, and historic sightseeing, a show at The Garden Theater or a beer at the local brewery.

Betsie Lake is just down the street and there are two marinas within walking distance for charter fishing. The Betsie River is close by for all your fishing and kayaking desires. The Little River Casino is only a short 25 minute drive from Frankfort!
