Paradise Retreat

Lake house on Herrington Lake with beautiful views and water access. Great family and friend getaway. Enjoy the great outdoors from the gazebo or decks that overlook water, a stone stairway descending into the water, or the dock with ladder. If it is too cold to swim, soak in the hot tub, sit by a fire, play games, or watch movies on the big screen. Inside, relax in the sunroom and enjoy all the amenities. 20 minutes from Danville and Harrodsburg. Not far from Bourbon Trace and Keeneland.
The space
The house sleeps 9 but we ask that you please limit the number of adults to no more than 6 and no loud parties that might disturb the neighbors. This is a quiet residential neighborhood to have relax and have fun on the lake.

Located 20 minutes from Danville and an hour from Lexington. There are also day trips to Fort Harrod (9.6mi), Shakertown (9.9mi), Berea, and hiking (14-16mi). Depending upon the season, our speedboat may be available to rent.
Guest access
Guest have access to the entire house, large gazebo, dock, and fire pit area.
Other things to note
The house is located on a hill surrounded by trees. It is not handicap accessible as anyone will have to walk up and down the hill and navigate a few steps. There is parking for about 8 cars on asphalt.

We have had some renters throw loud late night parties that have disturbed our wonderful neighbors. We have installed rental-recommended noise monitors that alert us and our guests if the noise gets too loud. In
