You can't get any closer to Downtown Danville. This recently renovated beautiful 2BR / 1 bath home (with brand new kitchen and furnishings) is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting your Centre student, attending a Centre sporting event, stopping on the Bourbon Trail at local Wilderness Trace Distillery, checking out historic Danville or Civil War battlefields, or touring the horse farms in nearby Lexington. Have a stress free and fun weekend in town by not having to deal with driving and parking. Just walk just 1 block and you will be at Dry Stack coffee cafe, Copper & Oak restaurant, Burkes Bakery, The Hub cafe, La Cosa Nostra restaurant, Bricks & Brews, Bluegrass Pizza, and Constitution Square (the birthplace of the State of Kentucky). Centre College is just 6 blocks away. The house has 10 foot high ceilings that add to the spacious vibe. This is the perfect home for Mom to cook her Centre student a home cooked meal while Dad watches the football game on the 58" TV in the living room. The chef will be delighted to prep meals in the fully stocked kitchen with White Silestone quartz countertops. Host small get togethers for your Centre student and their friends, or invite over some other Centre sports families that are in town for games. The house is perfectly located - a block from Main Street and the restaurants, historical sites, and Centre College. The house itself is very cozy! Comfortable beds- well stocked with lots of special touches. Communication was superb too!

Overall a really nice place! Beds were very comfy. Nice kitchen. Shower was very small, but otherwise no complaints at all. Would definitely stay there again!!

Great location

The location was perfect if you are a CENTRE parent since it was so close to the school and town. Place was clean. The beds were comfortable . The parking was easy.

While I did not stay in the house (Last minute circumstances), my colleague did. He said the house was great. It was clean and comfortable. He had no issues while staying. He also indicated that he would stay there again in the future when he's visiting Danville.

Great location to Centre College and the downtown shops and eateries. What we liked other than location: open and airy, lots of natural light, uncluttered, comfortable space to relax, full kitchen (stocked with basics), keurig, hot water kettle, good TV programming, access to thermostat, clean and crisp finishings. What was odd but 100% acceptable - no window coverings in common spaces particularly in kitchen that has windows across from bathroom.We come to Danville several times a year and hope this location is available in the future, will be our first choice.

A perfect quaint place to stay

Being unfamiliar with Danville, KY we were pleasantly surprised how wonderful this location was. this home is in a perfect quaint location one block from Main Street loved walking daily to eat or to the park. The owner was very nice to work with us as we had to extend and home was clean and orderly. Beautifully renovated. Safe place. We appreciated this and will come back!

We could not stay.

There was an issue with the property when we arrived. We were unable to stay there. The Host agreed to a full refund since the house was not fit to be occupied. However it took many phone calls and back and forth to get it resolved. The entire experience was very frustrating.

Dear Christy, I am sorry that you were unable to stay at the house. We now have the house setup on regular monthly pest control service, so that issue has been resolved. As far as the frustrating refund process, that is an issue with the VRBO customer service call center. I called in several times as well and authorized them to cancel your booking and provide a full refund, but they kept telling me that you had to be the one to authorize the cancellation. It was frustrating for me as well, but unfortunately I have no control over how the VRBO call center is staffed and trained. All the best, Rob
