Great stay.
Our family, including two teenage boys had a great time while at Gema by Cadissa. We arranged for airport pickup with Aumury, the manager of Gema. But last minute we changed our connecting flight to arrive an hour or so earlier in Medellín. This was no problem as our driver was there to pick us up in a comfy van as soon as we arrived! We loved the apartment, it was clean, spacious and well appointed with everything we needed, in the kitchen, laundry, a few waters in the frig and a bottle of wine. The apartment is 3bed and 3 bath giving each of our boys their own room, closet TV and bathroom, and we had our own as well. I had a washer to use so that we only needed to bring a carry on bag for a week of travel. The Laureles neighborhood is very safe and walkable. There are many taxis to grab one street over (if you don’t happen to have the front desk order one) and also a ATM two blocks away. Across the street near the corner is a market for groceries, where we grabbed snacks,waters, and soda. Nearby there were many types of restaurants and cafes to choose from and a Catholic Church (Santa Gema) to celebrate mass. In the mornings we would grab a coffee or expresso from the front desk and chat with the front desk staff Christian or Gene who have excellent English language skills before heading out on adventures for the day. The staff was very helpful accommodating. We are glad we stayed here and will stay here again.
