Great stay

Great view of ocean, king bed, proximity to swimming beach. All the ingredients for an excellent hawaii vacation. Interior somewhat dated but functional.

Amazing view

The property is very nice. The ocean view was gorgeous 24/7. Listening to the soft crashing waves was relaxing every morning and evening while beginning and ending each day.

Fantastic Location and View

We enjoyed our stay so much. The view is breathtaking. The room is a little outdated (we had to call someone to fix the fridge) but that was fixed quickly and so it didn’t bother us. It’s a simple cottage-like room and we loved the easy access to the beach, pools and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Paradise in Napali

This unit had everything we could ask for and more. The patio with the view of the ocean was the highlight for us. We spent many hours on the patio enjoying the view and listening to the surf against the shore.

I adore this property. It’s the second time at this unit and we love it! Quiet, immaculately clean and well appointed! Close to everything West Maui. Love the beaches , snorkeling with the Honus, and cocktails on the porch watching the waves!

Great Location

We have stayed at this Outrigger location before, but not at this condo. Beautiful view from the patio. Air conditioning would have been nice, but the breeze was sufficient to cool it down. Two things the owner needs to know. First, we had to wash all the dishes and silverware because many of them were moldy. Also the water in the shower and kitchen sink drain very slowly. All things considered, we would stay there again.

On the Lava!

The view and wave sounds from this condo are really fantastic. The condo fronts the lava rocks but Naipli Beach is close by. There are many restaurants nearby, including the Gazebo on the property, which serves delicious breakfast and lunch. There is almost always a line but here is a tip, if you stay on the property you can call after 8:00 am and get orders to go, usually within 10-15 minutes and enjoy them on your lanai. None of the rooms are air conditioned but you don't need it with open windows and doors along with the trade winds. I highly recommend this unit I 269.

Can't beat this view!

Walking in to the unit, the view takes your breath away. Just what I wanted. Sitting on the balcony looking out at the water, watching the whales (there were many), eating dinner, sunsets, and the moon over the water, and all fairly private on the second floor. The unit itself could use some freshening up. The linens need to be upgraded, but we slept very well (comfortable mattress). The resort pools were nice, and walk to the beach was just on the otherside of the pool, so close, although the path to the beach could use some sprucing up. Overall, happy with this rental.

Unit has the best view!!!

We have stayed at Napili Shores several times. Always enjoy it. This unit has the best view! And is an end upper- very quiet, bed good. The only recommendation is to upgrade the upholstered furniture pieces and paint the walls light to refresh the unit!! Also it would be nice to have 2 beach chairs provided so guests do not have to rent them. We left a umbrella and small folding cooler!!! Buy ice- ice machine in freezer not working. We will come and stay again!!!! It is near the Gazebo restraunt but you don't see it from the room!

Lovely Condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night vacation in condo I-269 at Napili Shores. We loved the corner unit, upper floor, and the privacy. We had NO problem with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks - loved it! The condo was pretty well equipped, although there was NO coffee for the first morning. That would be a thoughtful addition. The bed was very comfortable and everything was nice and neat and clean. Loved the choice of two pools and the easy access to Napili Cove Beach. We had breakfast one morning at the Gazebo and dinner one night at the Sea House Restaurant down the beach. We frequented the Napili Market about 2 minutes down the road - they have just about everything you'd need. Great sushi and poke!! Napili Shores is a great location!

No beach access

This is a nice property but because it was a VRBO we didn’t get any care from the property staff itself, Like clean beach towels, maid service or fresh bath towels. We were required to pay an additional 80$ at check in and when I asked if we had maid service they said to contact our property company. So what’s the extra 80$ for? It’s a little bit of a walk to get to the beach but with the beach access closed it was a hike.

Over and beyond

We made reservation back in January for a stay on Maui in May. When we got to hotel and looking forward to our balcony view of the pool and beach (based on photo of room view) it was not the same. Not fault to iTrip. Since January a big store came in and damage the pool and beach access. We called the customer service # and with in less then an hour we were booked into another beautiful location with-in couple of miles. The place was awesome with 2 pools and beach access!!! The service and satisfaction from iTrip was over and beyond! My wife and I will use iTrip again on our next adventure!!! Bryon & Janet

Sunsets, whales, turtles and spinner dolphins!

Great location to sit on your lanai and watch the world go by or to spend your time at the sandy beach next door. Binoculars recommended for close up views of the whales activities. Snorkeling always included turtles! Rentals of all water sport gear available on site. Or take a dip in the pools when u just need to cool off as this unit is located very nearby. We cooked in most evenings as we enjoyed supper on the lanai watching the sun set and breaching whales. Management was very responsive to our requests for a few more kitchen bowls, etc. The only drawback of this rental … there were no foldable lawn chairs, boogie boards, noodles or coolers ON SITE for immediate use on the many beaches we visited in the area. These are very basic beach accessories usually included with a Maui condo rental which in our opinion shouldn’t have to be booked on another app!

Whale watching

We've stayed several times at Napili Shores, always in this building (I) because it is Ocean Front beyond belief. The views from this balcony allow plenty of whale sightings each day. I don't think we will be staying here again though because of the outrageous hidden fees, which amounted to about one third of the total fees The unit itself is pretty basic, nothing fancy or recently remodeled and it had an old refrigerator that was extremely noisy during the night & kept us awake. When we reported it to the front desk we were told, "I will make a note of it," but no action was taken, leading to additional sleep disruption. There also was an ant problem with ant poison positioned in several locations on the kitchen drainboard which seemed too close for safe food preparation. But, again, the views really are wonderful, plus we enjoy the ocean side pool and the Gazebo restaurant.

Sunsets and ocean waves as you relax on your private lanai

My wife and I spent eleven nights here in June 2021, and were overjoyed to have such a great place to stay. The studio's lanai faces the water directly and is about150 ft from the shore, with only green grass and a few palm trees between you and the Pacific Ocean. At the end of a fun-filled day on Maui, the condo offers a private and quiet place to relax and take in the stunningly beautiful view of the sun setting over the island of Moloka'i. Maui was incredibly busy while we were there. Restaurants on Maui have been filling up their reservations several months in advance (something we didn't know before our trip), making it impossible to get a table at virtually any restaurant in west Maui. Consequently, having a kitchen was a lifesaver for us since we cooked every day, often both breakfast and dinner. As compensation for our troubles, we ate our meals on the lanai, enjoying views and a surrounding that beat anything that any restaurant could offer! We did not find it a problem at all that the condo does not have air conditioning. The condo is well-ventilated and the constant breeze from the ocean provides sufficient cooling. When we would return from being out for the day, we would prop open the condo's door (it has a doorstop), and a cool breeze would drop the temperature in the room very quickly. It was quite pleasant, actually. In fact, at night while sleeping we were glad to have a blanket, as it would get downright chilly in the wee hours (my wife would even use the comforter). We vacationed on Maui with some friends who stayed at a hotel on the other side of Napili Bay, giving us an opportunity to compare our lodgings with theirs. My wife and I decided that we preferred our condo, and I think our friends secretly did too. 😏 This condo is possibly the best place to stay in Napili Bay.

Beautifully Located Beach Condo

We enjoyed our private second story corner unit with it's amazing views and the sounds of the waves crashing out our door very much. We were surprised it did not offer AC and found that several things could use some fresh updating to help take it to the next level. Bedding was tired and dated, refrigerator had rust marks, shower curtain had some mold on it, beach chairs were broken and the blender was quite old. Still, the view and privacy were wonderful and we enjoyed our little corner of paradise.
