Quick birthday trip

We came for a long weekend for my daughter’s birthday. The house was neat and tidy. However, we noticed a musty, moldy smell upon entering and all throughout the house. Sure enough, there was mold in the downstairs bathroom and in the vents all throughout the house. The internet didn’t work and we discovered that the gas stove didn’t work, but property manager was excellent in responding to our calls about both. They went above and beyond to get us hot plates to cook on until the gas company could get out there. The location of the house was excellent for three teens and an infant and the different needs that come up with those age differences. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, the property managers were extremely responsive, but the house just needs some basic maintenance and a deep clean to remove mildew and mold.

Just the Ticket is very nice.

We had a couple of cleaning issues and a request for a blow dryer which management handled quickly and nicely. My suggestion would be to clean tile/travertine floors and reseal. Walking barefoot inside left the bottoms of our feet black. Besides that, the biggest issue was that every “sharp” knife in the house was dangerously dull. Even cutting bread was impossible. But overall the house was clean and comfortable and we had a great time!

Perfect Family Getaway

We Love Destiny By The Sea & this is the perfect house for a large Family or multiple friends. Steps from beach & pool. Gated neighborhood. House is cleaned & well laid out. Great views. Easy instructions. They go the extra mile with all the amenities that they include. We would love to go back!!

Perfect family weekend spot

We traveled with our 2, 4 and 5 year old and grandparents and had the best weekend. The house was beautiful, the location was so easy to get to the pool and the beach. We want to come stay again! The third floor master and bottom floor king are fantastic sized rooms and all the beds were very comfortable. The bunks on the bottom floor aren’t ideal for young kids if you don’t have an adult staying downstairs in the other bedroom bc that is the garage/outside access and the giant master room is on the top floor. Just something to consider if renting. The middle king room is where we put our 2 year old in a pack n play so the monitor would reach during the night but we had to hope the other little ones would get the grandparents if needed next door on the first floor (they couldn’t make two flights). The den/kitchen was huge and wonderful for a big group to gather. The sofa was not very comfortable but we really only spent time indoors on it in the evenings. Outdoor table was great for meals, puzzles and games, and overall, we had such a wonderful 4 night trip. Can’t wait to book and go again!

Great place to stay

We had a 8 adults stay at this property. We were all very comfortable and had a great stay. Location and access to the beach was fantastic.

Dirty

Unfortunately the house was filthy. I contacted the rental company and they responded immediately. The guys cleaned a few things I showed them but the house overall was just kind of gross. We stayed for 2 weeks so I had to do quite a bit of cleaning to get it up to even a pretty low cleanliness standard. The house itself is nice, the furnishing and large porches are awesome but the bottom floor has a pretty musty smell. The owner or rental company need to take a week or two and do a deep clean on this property.

Great Place!!

The neighborhood was amazing! Super quiet and private and the house was so nice and clean! We had a little issue with check-in and the property management company sent us the wrong garage code. That issue was resolved in about 45 minutes. Will def. be back with the whole family very soon!

Just The Ticket

Could not believe the crowds. It was almost a deal breaker for us. Also, the last time we stayed at this location we had access to Destiny East-pool, tennis courts, and work out room. That was disappointing. Mattresses on King beds were worn out! Extremely uncomfortable.

Beautiful home, no view of water, but very short walk to beach and pool. Quiet neighborhood. Description on VRBO/HomeAway has mistakes. Portions appear to have been copied and pasted from a description for another home. Electronics/TVs do not all work properly. WIFI does not work on top floor. Very nice appliances. Some furnishings showing their age. Tile floors could use a good scrubbing, especially in half bath. Overall, very nice and would stay here again.

Beautiful

This is a beautiful place with plenty of room and nice, updated finishes. Only a block from the beach and a short walk from the pool it was very convenient for us with our small children. Construction was going on across the street right in front of the balconies which was not ideal, but this obviously won't be an issue forever. I would recommend this place!

Awesome Vacation!

This was overall a badass vacation. We were greeted by Five Star when we first arrived and even had wine delivered right to our door. Very pleasant experience. It was a spacious and comfortable home for our party of ten. Will definitely use Five Star in the future and Deliver My Wine as well! haha Already planned our next stay in Destin, FL.
