We really enjoyed our stay. Checkin was easy, everything was clean, plenty of towels and fully stocked kitchen. The beach really was just steps away and the pool was very nice as well. There were 10 of us, 3 sets of adults and their 4 kids altogether, and it was great having room to congregate together or privately as desired. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Jean for everything.

Loved this Property

With 6 kids, we loved the convenience of the short walk to the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping! Owner had very quick to respond to a couple of issues we had. It was a great vacation!

This home was absolutely perfect for my entire family to stay comfortably. It’s only a few steps to the pristine private beach, and right across the street from the neighborhood pool. It’s also a perfect location that’s convenient to everything Destin. The gated neighborhood was beautiful, safe, and quiet. Jean was so great to work with and attentive to every need.

Perfection!

We’ve been coming to Destin and Miramar for years now and this is by far our favorite place we’ve ever rented. From the beach setup to the abundant supplies available for the week, to the home itself, it was perfection. Jean kept in touch, checked on us, and reminded us about trash pickups. The house is GORGEOUS.

New Favorite Stay in Destin

This home is the perfect location not only in Destin, but in very close proximity to the pool and beach. Each floor has its own patio/porch which was great for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Having the rooms on the bottom floor is brilliant! The master on the third floor feels like a world away. I can’t wait to book our next vacation in this home!! We WILL be back.

Perfect family house near the beach

We’ve been going to Destin for years. I wish we had found this place sooner. We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Not to mention it’s also stocked with everything you would need for the beach, wagon, beach chairs, floaty. The pool is right across the street. Such a wonderful property in a gated community. The owner was very easy to communicate and easily accessible. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely Perfect!

This was our first time staying in this house and neighborhood and we absolutely loved it! We’ve been going to Destin for many years and I must say that this is by far our favorite location yet. Jean went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had all of the information we needed. She even included a beach set up and requested it be spaced out from the crowd which we were so grateful for. The beach is a very short walk and we also enjoyed the pool area right in front of the house. The neighborhood is gated with a 24/7 security guard which I love because I felt like it was very safe for my teenage daughters to walk everywhere by themselves. We cannot wait to stay in The Lighthouse again!!

5 star all the way (program was wonky and would only accept 4 star). Communication was quick and accurate. The home was perfect for our girls trip - we loved the quick walk to beach - straight out the front door. We will definitely be back. The extra supplies with the house were so convenient!Literally can’t think of anything to improve. Highly recommend
