The Bungalow on Mill St.

Peaceful and centrally-located place in the Heart of Olde Bayfield. Centrally located on Mill street with restaurants within walking distance, Dog friendly Parks, are near by.
This Bungalow is Dog Friendly as well except we ask that you don' allow your pets on the furniture and use the clean up station for your pet in the courtyard. Parking is available in the driveway or you can park curbside if preferred . Fishing paradise all around the Valley such as Lake Vallecito and Gold medal fly fishing rivers. Mesa Verde is a premier National Park to the west that is a must see. Two Excellent ski areas that have some of the highest powder piles in the State. Enjoy your stay!
The space:
Kitchen area has a cook top that plugs in. A micro refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, Countertop oven. A table for two.
Utility room has a washer and dryer,
Bedroom has a queen bed, TV for streaming your favs, an Armoire for clothing, night stands, lamps with phone charger outlets.
Bathroom has a standard shower, sink and toilet
Outdoor sitting areas has Chairs, table, Propane BBQ grill, fenced area for pets.
Driveway for one car to park off the street. There is a camera at the front door only. It is pointed towards the street.

Although the property was nice we had zero communication with the hosts durimg our stay, the driveway has broken up concrete and could not park a car there without scraping the bottom of the car. Parking spaces were limited due to businesses next door. Upon arrival the Bungalow smelled of mold which seemed to be coming from the heater or the ac unit. Would recomend having them serviced

Nice spot & stay

Bayfield is a sweet little town - plenty of food places and lovely parks. The Bungalow was tiny but perfect for me and my dog. The location was perfect for us as well, since it was 3 houses from a large park.

Great little place

The bungalow was very clean and well kept up. Although it was a small unit, it was efficient. We enjoyed eating out in the patio. We were pleasantly surprised that there was an air fryer toaster oven. Convenient location for our Durango to Silverton train ride.

Overall the venue was good. My husband has ambulatory issues, the uneven cement was a challenge. Overall, the house was well kept and served our purpose. We are glad that it was available.

Colorado Get Away

Very clean, great location, comfortable bed and was exactly as advertised. We were able to walk to restaurants (all within a block) and enjoy great food. We definitely recommend this property and will stay there again when we are back in the area.

Nice tiny home

Very small but clean. Only two gripes. The curtain on the front door is a little short which reduces privacy. The light switch and wiring in the laundry room are not secured to drywall. The switch and faceplate are simply nailed to a curtain. I’m not an electrician but am a bit of a handyman and I can’t imagine that is code or passed any kind of an inspection. That said, I doubt it’s a safety hazard unless a small child tried to mess with it.

Sweet little cottage in quiet little town

What a lovely surprise! Just a wonderful clean, quiet, peaceful place to lay our heads after a long day on the Durango Silverton railway. Definitely would like to visit again! Thank you so much for sharing your little home!

Nice bungalow

This was a great stopping place. The bungalow was just what we needed as a resting place. Very clean with everything we needed. Liked the small patio. Not a lot in Bayfield but easy travel between Durango and Pagosa Springs.

Cute and cozy

This little bungalow was perfect for our short stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only problem we had is that we drove our slingshot and the driveway has buckled up so it does make it a challenge to park in the driveway. It was raining and we made it work so we didn’t have to walk as far but Otherwise, a regular vehicle will fit perfect and close to the door. I would recommend this cute little place to anyone, it is more affordable than some of the hotels. Plus Colorado is absolutely beautiful.

Great small place

The property is a cozy small place located in the city of Bayfield and is a perfect spot for privacy but great location to be in town. It was very clean and neat and had an easy check in/check out rules set. Would highly recommend staying here again.

Perfect Little Sanctuary

This was my second time staying at the property. It’s a perfect little sanctuary, close to everything and has everything you need. The location is great, has off street parking, and a private fenced back patio. I’ll definitely stay here again when I next travel to the area.
