Situated next door to the iconic Anchorage Marina, enjoy time with family and friends in this newly renovated luxury Lake Burton 6 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom cottage! Located on a peaceful, quiet cove with steep views of Charlie Mountain. Right off the property shore, you can fish, kayak, swim, or launch your boat from the newly built dock/boat house, and be on big water in 2 minutes. Take a walk next door to the marina to grab a hand-scooped ice cream or a freshly made gourmet sandwich. This place is quite the gem with a century old timeless feel!

Lots of space for gatherings and great family fun. Enjoy the beautiful views that the property provides the nice fire-pit located by the waters edge. You get the best of both worlds during late fall thru winter, as the lake level is down, providing a whistling stream relaxing sounds and ambience. Spend time walking around the beautiful private property to see mother’s nature at its best.

Bring your kayaks and float to enjoy the nice private cove. Anchorage marina is next door with plenty of boat rentals available, be sure to call several days in advance to reserve your watercraft of choice.

We ask that our guests DO NOT park at the Marina overnight.

The property is beautiful and the interior of the house is immaculate. All the beds were confortable, very nice bathrooms and showers, and a great kitchen with plenty of island space. Outdoor fire pit and indoor wood burning fireplace were nice. Great sitting areas outside. We could see a sliver of the lake from one side of the living room, but it’s only a 100 yard walk to the marina and we rented a boat for the whole trip so we got plenty of lake time. Great place all around.

Our family of six plus dog had a great time at this lakeside home. Communication with the property manager was smooth and follow through was good. We used the big green egg )outdoor grill) and found the kitchen well stocked for cooking at home. We rented a pontoon from a more distant marina than the one next door as we wanted our dog on the lake with us and the next door marina wouldn’t allow it. No big deal as the other marina was well equipped with restaurants and a nice boat ride away. The house was clean and we would recommend it.

This house was perfect! We had plenty of space for everyone. The beds were comfy. Everything was clean and ready to go for our stay. The porch dock is really nice to sit out on. Would rent again. The only problem we had was the size of the driveway but we were able to fit five cars. Just something to be aware of for a bigger group. This was also only a 15 minute drive to Downtown Clayton which was super convenient.

Very well equipped kitchen with surprisingly large selection of spices. House is huge and well decorated. Great outdoor spaces from decks to fire circle. The hosts were great and very responsive to any inquiry. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed Our Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property worked quite well for all ages including infants, toddlers, and children. The house was well stocked with supplies for a large group. We enjoyed the creek setting where we could fish and kayak.

Host is very responsive and seeks to assist in any way possible. Multiple contacts were provided and responded quickly to any concern. Even issues beyond the host's control were addressed and innovative solutions were provided. The location adjacent to the Anchorage Marina made boat rental convenient and with multiple day rental we had a boat to use at any time day or night. The six bedrooms provide great accommodations for a family gathering. The three bedrooms on the first floor have ensuite baths and there is also a half bath. Upstairs there is only one bath for three rooms, but the half bath downstairs is available if needed. Of course no cabinet supplies were guaranteed but there were numerous spices and oils of every kind and fuel for every outdoor need including the Recteq smoker, Big Green Egg and the fire pit. Our families (now 4 separate households) have stayed in numerous rental homes over the years and this venue met our needs better than any. We counted 9 smart TV's and there are many books and games to enjoy. We hope and expect to return.

Got a huge group? This is your place!

This place is fantastic for a large group. It is spacious and comfortable. Each room is a suite and beautifully decorated and the bunk room is perfect for the kids! The location at Anchorage Marina is perfect for enjoying time on the lake.

This house is exactly as advertised. Pretty, spacious and well equipped. Plenty of living spaces for everyone to spread out. A BIG plus..very comfortable beds and bedding! Will definitely come back!

Beautiful House

It was a great house for big families. Our family was from 3 states and ranged from 6 weeks old to 80 years old and everyone was comfortable. Great location and perfect for summer vacations.

Fantastic House for Business Retreat

Just as advertised. Comfortable, clean and everything worked, which is not always the case. Communication with owner/property management company was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone, convenient location to marinas, golf, Clayton and resturants.

Perfect Location and More!

This house was amazing! We we on the go a lot in downtown Clayton and the surrounding State parks. But when were at the house we were never at a loss for things to do. We enjoyed the fire pit and the BBQ grill, watched a sunset from the deck, played bocce ball, took a walk to the nearby art gallery, played cards, and cooked and dined in style! The bedding, towels and kitchen supplies are top notch! All the living areas were comfy - we even read from one of the poetry books we discovered among the books in the library! I absolutely give the place a great review!
