Mosquitoes ruined our trip

Excited to check in early on Sunday. That was end of the fun. She got in pool on Monday and was eaten up by mosquitoes. The were so bad she didn’t get back in pool. I personally never got in at all. Due to scheduling appointments the week we were there we couldn’t leave several days early. We did leave 2 days early. Very disappointed we couldn’t use the facilities we had paid for. We stay in Venice twice a year and never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately not here again

Great pool and location!

Great heated pool and location close to Manasota Beach as well as Tamiami Trail for shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again. House very comfortable. Nice neighborhood. Artur very nice and responsive.

Home worked perfect for us with the pool and also close to Shamrock Park and start of Legacy Trail. Great walking and biking trail. Good communication with owner prior to and during stay.

Good location, private

Overall we had a very relaxing time staying at ARTUR’s property. The pool is really nice and private. The house is on a dead end street with a friendly family atmosphere ( it is quiet) which we really enjoyed. Short drive from a number of great beaches and grocery stores. Some things we would change: there was only one mattress pad. The pool area is hard to clean - the non slip surface gets dirty. However, the water in the pool was pristine through our stay without any chlorine smell. Also, the cage around the pool is huge!

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood very close to Manasota Key Beach.

My wife and I started Shark tooth hunting about 3 years ago and up until now had driven from Siesta Key down each day we wanted to go. Manasota Key beach has been our favorite spot. I found this for a late add trip and tired it and love the house. Communication with Artur is superb, the house is in a very quiet neighborhood, with lots of room both in the house and your private pool. Each morning we went to Manasota Key and it took <10 minutes each day, there are no businesses on the way, just Gopher Tortoises to keep an eye open for!

Even though the area looked like a bomb went off the house took minimal damage. We had electric unlike several places in the area and the a/c and pool worked so we were good. You never know how much good the pool screens do until a few are missing. The owner Artur was a pleasure to rent from and he took very good care of all our needs. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Nice, large home with wonderful pool

We had a great time staying at this Vrbo property. It was large enough for our local family members to come over for dinner with a nice large dining table and fabulous outdoor area around the pool. The kitchen is well-stocked with pot and pans and we appreciated having a washer/dryer available along with TVs in the bedrooms. The pool is larger than most rentals and we enjoyed floating.

We like this house

Artur is very helpful and responsible. Every time we have some question, text him, we always got his dependable response soon. After hurricane he sent us photos of the property and provide us some options. In fact, the damage of the house is NOT severe. We enjoy our vacation and hope come back soon.

Huge home close to beaches

Huge home! Excellent beaches within 2-5 miles. The pool was perfect for an evening swim after being on the beach all day. Quiet, friendly neighbors. The owner was excellent, we had a pretty big issue in the middle of our stay and he answered my call immediately and was quick to remedy. Cleaning could be better (sticky kitchen floor, dishes put away dirty) and it's an older home in need of maintenance (owner said he is coming in a few weeks to do work on the home) but overall it was a great stay, and we would stay again.

Family vacation

Great quiet location to spend time with family. Loved the pool area. Loved the heated pool. Our son gained more confidence with swimming. He went from sitting only on the step to swimming across the pool with a pool noodle. He called it our house with the pool. Great quick location to get to the beaches and to area restaurants. Would definitely stay again

Perfect!

We wanted to just get away for a week, visit some friends in the area and relax. Artur's home away from home was perfect! Once we arrived and ordered groceries we literally were in need of nothing else. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need for cooking a huge dinner or just making a sandwich, the pool area has plenty of seating with a large, well kept pool, directions for the South Venice Beach Ferry are clear and concise and instructions for check in and check out were detailed and easy. The neighborhood is SO quiet. We spent most days never leaving the house. Everything we needed was there. We do not have children, but if you do this house is ideal layout. The master is on the opposite side of home from other 2 bedrooms, there are 2 sitting rooms and children could really enjoy their time in their living room while parents also could get a little peace and quiet easily. Home is conveniently located near the town of Venice, and I can't imagine needing something and not being able to acquire it quickly. Artur made us feel welcome and was available for any and all questions while simultaneously not invading anyprivacy.

Good stay

Good location, close to key beaches and shopping. Lots of little lizards running around, definitely the Florida experience. Only thing is the pool area was a little messy, but we swept up the debris and had a good time.

Nicely updated clean place to vacation.

This home's pictures do not do the place justice. It has a nice open floorplan, heated pool, and plenty of space to enjoy around the pool. Off location is the nearby beaches, close enough to Sarasota it can be made a day trip. The owner is also transparent on expectations of use of their property, quick to respond to any questions you may have. I would stay again on this property.

Loved the pool and the private beach access

We loved the pool at this rental house. It was perfect for kids, and having a fenced in backyard is nice for pets. The South Venice beach ferry was AWESOME, and we loved having our own beach! The house, itself, shows it’s age and has a strange layout. We found the kitchen very sticky, and did not find towels until halfway through our trip (they were clean, but in the dryer.). We did lose electricity for a few hours during a storm, but that is no fault of the owners. Prior to the trip, I had difficulty connecting with the property owners, but was able to get into contact with them just before the trip.

Nice house in quiet neighborhood

We booked this house for 9 days over the fourth of July this year. There was plenty of room for my family of 6 plus our dogs. The pool area was really nice, we spent most of our time out there. We only ate out twice during our stay so it was realy nice having a kitchen that is stocked with pretty much everything you could need including casserole dishes, big pots, pans, coffee mugs, shot glasses, toaster, microwave, etc... We enjoyed being right around the corner from the beach ferry and only a short drive to the grocery store. The air conditioning works GREAT in this house! We were very comfortable and the fans in every room was a nice touch! The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe during our stay. There are plenty of clean linens & towels & the house itself was very clean. No dust bunnies or random hair anywhere in sight! There is a doggie door in the pool area that leads to a fenced area for the dogs to play and do their business. On the other side their is antoher door that leads to a non fenced area perfect for grilling & checking out the creek that runs along the back of the property. The garage is HUGE and ws perfect for housing our golf cart and our Harley. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice place to stay without breaking the bank. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome & Quiet Vacation Rental

It’s a great location and close to the beach. We really enjoyed our time here. The house was clean, the kitchen has all you need, the pool is as described and a nice to have is, that you have access to the pool area from both bathrooms. Thanks Artur and we hope to have the pleasure next year again.

Very close to the beach

It was very easy to make reservations. The owner was always accessible. It was close to the beaches. The house was bigger than we needed, probably perfect for a big group. We just wanted a quiet private getaway for our anniversary. Quiet neighborhood.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a last minute change of plans and needed to find a rental quickly while on vacation in Venice. Artur was very responsive and accommodating with our request. He was also very responsive to our questions throughout our stay. Overall a good experience.
