Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Enjoy a spacious, open kitchen, for all your cooking needs. A washer and dryer is also available for your use. Enjoy the outdoors with yard furniture and a fun fire pit. Convenient off road parking in a safe, quiet, wooded area. Minutes from Fortwainwright and Eielson Air Force Base. View the northern lights from the front and back deck in the winter.
The space
The house is a duplex. It is spacious and clean. Enjoy an open floor plan, including living room, dining room, and kitchen. The perfect setting for family gatherings. It includes two bathrooms to accommodate everyone’s needs.

Clean, cozy, and quiet. The perfect retreat for seeing Alaska with the family. The host was extremely responsive when I had questions and offered many suggestions on places to visit. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay for our visit to Fairbanks. Very clean and plenty of room. The host checked on us and made sure everything was good with us and gave us tips on how to see the northern lights. There is no way to beat the price for such a great place and location.

Accurate listing, everything acceptable except not allowed to adjust the thermastat or open the windows and it was very cold with the AC on all the time.

Kimberly We don’t have air conditioning in the unit. The wall thermostat work , and guests can adjust as needed. I don’t believe you stayed there. I believe it was Roy and another gentleman. To our knowledge.. They were great guest . We recommend them to any host, and they’re welcome back anytime.

North Pole Adventure

Our family met up in Anchorage to start our vacation. Then to Denali and North Pole/Fairbanks. Had a great time. Lou’s Den was perfect for us.

Perfect Stay

Lou’s Bear Den was wonderful lodging! The home is equipped with everything you could want. It’s clean, cozy and just a short drive from Fairbanks. The host was so nice and available, if needed. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The property was very clean and in a nice woodsy area. We didn’t realize that one of the bedrooms is a converted garage. The only difficulty with that was that early in the morning on Saturday a plumber was working on the other side of the wall and woke up my sleeping friends.The owner was very responsive in her communication. We appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen so that we could prepare our own meals.

Very comfortable, cozy and clean! We had everything we needed plus more! Everyone in our family was very impressed. The host was very welcoming and checked in to see if we needed anything. We would recommend Lou's Bear Den to anyone!
