Beautiful Home, Needs Improvements
I am giving this listing 4 1/2 stars. The house is really lovely and as great as advertised- maybe better.
The good: There are two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two sets of washers and dryers- in a house that accommodates 30 people, this was excellent! The young adults loved the garage gameroom and the second floor one. We loved having all the downstairs master bedrooms. There are alarms on the back doors that lead to the pool and that was awesome.
The bad: When we arrived there were a number of things that did not function properly or at all- door knobs falling off, whole doors off the hinges, main master bedroom closet was locked and we couldn’t get in it. The washer and dryer needs to be updated- it takes a long time to wash and dry. We ran the dryer several times to get bedding fully dry. The parking situation was terrible. In a house meant to accommodate so many, they are severely lacking space for everyone. It wouldn’t have been a major issue if they didn’t enforce strict parking guidelines. Two people in our party received a ticket (we understand this is a community issue and not the property owners, but it should be addressed).
Every issue we brought to the property manager’s attention was addressed right away. We appreciated that. And the handy man was the nicest.
Honestly, none of the “bad” detracted from our trip. It was still an amazing stay and I would rent this property again.
