Downtown Dahlias fully remodeled in the heart of Gloucester

Relaxing spot close to everything in Gloucester. Our three bedroom home is a two level home filled with everything to make your stay perfect. Its is located behind our flower shop. Enjoy the quiet courtyard for breakfast or dinner. The first floor has an open concept kitchen living room with a laundry area. The kitchen has granite countertop and fully stocked with everything you will need with brand new appliances . The living room has an electric fireplace with 60 in smart tv. With two cozy loveseats. The second floor has a master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, queen bed, with a dresser and lots of closet space. It also has a chair that folds into a single bed more suitable for a child. Second bedroom has a queen bed with full closet, third bedroom has a full size bed with dresser and closet. Each bedroom has linens and pillows. The bathroom is on the second floor with walk in shower, large mirror, granite countertop and fully stocked with towels. The outdoor space is perfect’s spot to relax. We are located across the street from the train station to take you to Rockport, Salem, or a day in Boston. We are walking distance to a grocery store, liquor store, and coffee shop. We also have a few great restaurants too try out along with a bar that has live music. We are a five minute walk to stage fort park or a quick drive to the beach. We have lots of great shops on Main Street that is within walking distance. Our home is nested behind our flower shop which shares a driveway. There is one parking spot but plenty of off street parking. During summer months we do need to water the gardens daily but we will be sure not to disturb you and your guest. You will be greeted with fresh flowers when you arrive complements of Audrey's flower shop. We hope you will enjoy our beautiful home.

We had such a wonderful stay in Gloucester! The home was spotless and beautifully maintained — every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The space was decorated for Halloween, which made it feel extra cozy and festive during our visit. The amenities were fantastic and made our stay super comfortable. We especially loved the fresh flowers — such a welcoming touch! The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful with local recommendations. Overall, this was one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Perfectly located. Very sweet to live behind a flower shop! Convenient to train stop. Train noise absolutely not a problem in fact a quaint clank on the rails as it passes by. Just note that there is a steep staircase to bedrooms and bathroom. The outside garden was lovely.

Excellent Experience

Hosts were gracious and super-responsive to questions and requests. Property was clean and renovated. Location was in close proximity to shoreline and shopping. Parking limited if traveling with family members requiring their own cars.

Another great GLO visit

Great location, fabulous hosts and a great time had by my family. Very easily to use 3 bedroom home with great beds, very nice bathroom and roomy kitchen. All appliances new and simple to use. Will rent again on next trip to GLO. Thanks Heather and Wayne

Downtown Daliah -Great Location in Gloucester MA

Across Street from Railroad Station-but no Loud Train Horns before 7:00 AM. Shaw’s Grocery Store few steps for those needed items. Heather and Wayne were Super in answering any Questions! Recommend Mom’s Kitchen, 29 Commercial St in Gloucester for Breakfast! Small Place - Great Food especially their Coffee Rolls -get there early! Walk across the Street to the Beach After!

What a charming place in a beautiful town next to all the New England things we wanted to do! Highly recommend this clever, comfortable space. Added bonus is the flower shop in front with the lovely, hospitable owner, Michelle.

Heather was a wonderful host. She answered all our questions and had everything ready for us, plus some extras when we arrived. It was a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend. Being right across from the train station and also walking distance to a grocery store was an added bonus! The bakery next door was also amazing.

Hidden Gem

Downtown Dahlia is an amazing place to stay! It is clean and everything is beautifully done in this hidden gem. This safe and comfortable home is centrally located and easy to get to. It is close to beaches, restaurants, and local activities. Wayne and Heather were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommended staying at Downtown Dahlia. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Gloucester!

Perfect for our group of five old friends!

This property is so lovely and the owners are so gracious! The location can't be beat! Walking distance to a fun club, restaurants and a yummy bakery! Everything inside the house is new and we loved the layout. I was in charge of planning and I get nervous with this kind of stuff. Exceeded expectations!! There are two sitting areas outside each with fabulous flowers. Lots of little touches and plenty of towels! Wayne and Heather provided some dinner and entertainment suggestions~such great hosts! Would love to go back someday!

Perfect location

The location is perfect: minutes to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The outdoor courtyard is an oasis. The hosts, Heather and Wayne were lovely.

Wonderful experience

We couldn't have asked for a better place or more gracious hosts. The house is beautiful, clean and well appointed-- Heather and Wayne have thought of everything. There were seasonal decorations to greet us and everything is bright and new. The location was just right for us. We wanted to be able to walk to the beach and to downtown Gloucester, and there are restaurants and a grocery store a short walk away.

Salem Girls Trip

Myself and 2 childhood friends stayed in this house for 3 nights. The location was perfect. Many restaurants, bagel shop, Shaws supermarket and the Gloucester train station were all within walking distance. The house itself was absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated and many lovely touches made us feel at home. Heather and Way e were the perfect hosts! I would highly recommend this home if you plan on visiting the Gloucester, Rockport and Salem areas. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great stay, great hosts, great location!

My stay was for an extended weekend and this property was exactly what I needed. The house was clean, spacious for our group, and there were a lot of cute added touches (candy, witch hats) The communication was great with the hosts. They were very attentive, friendly and fast to respond to all needs. Location was perfect, right across from train station and close to restaurants and bars.

The house was beautiful! We had such an incredible time and the owners were so helpful with recommendations of places to eat and visit. The train is also so close that it makes traveling to nearby towns so easy! Adorable little house in a fantastic location!

Extraordinary Hosts!!!

I must say in all of my VRBO stays I have never come across such incredible hosts… Wayne & Heather went above and beyond to make our stay perfect for us. Every need was met, every question (& then some) answered, their kindness & concern was their number one priority to make our stay perfect. The house is a brand new rental & tastefully renovated, very comfortable for my husband, myself and young adult children. Full disclosure, I was a little surprised when pulling up to the location, you park in a parking lot next to a florist shop with a fence hiding the house but once you walk through the gate all your needs are met! Across the street from the train station to Boston & Rockport & walking distance from grocery, liquor store & area restaurants.

Heather is originally from Salem Ma and Wayne is From East Boston. We both love Gloucester very much which is why we bought our property there? We both enjoy going to the beach and relaxing. It is very fun to host families coming to the glass area and showing them different areas of the North Shore to go and visit.
