The City of Tavares has served as the County's Seat for Lake County Florida, since 1888. Downtown Tavares, lies on the shores of Lake Dora. The picturesque Wooton Park sits only one block from Main Street and offers families everything from picnic pavilions to boat ramps. Tavares is also home to the Dora Canal, known as one of the most beautiful waterways in the world. Tavares is located in the center of the State of Florida 45 minutes northwest of Orlando.

We had a fantastic stay, everything was very clean and neat when we got there. No issues at all with our stay, plenty of towels, washrags, etc. Hosts were very welcoming and open to questions.

overall, excellent for a short stay.....window blinds dusty. it would have been nice to have 2 towels each instead of 1 towel each, but not the end of the world.....all good.

Wonderful all around.

This cute bungalow is clean and convenient to the Tavares pavilion. Our granddaughter was married at the pavilion and that too is a wonderful place to have an event. I highly recommend this bungalow and would stay there again.

Fishing Tournament trip

Booked last minute for a fishing tournament. Great communication on if my boat would fit, Place was everything me and my so needed for the weekend. Will definitely stay again if we have another tournament on the Harris chain.

The property was perfect for me. Central location to food, shopping, Lake Dora, etc. Quiet neighborhood. The pictures of the property were accurate. Overall a great experience! If i’m back in Tavares, this is where i will stay again. It felt like “home away from home” for sure!

Amazing!!!

The location was perfect! This place was clean and cute tastefully decorated. . It was perfect for us. Came for Leesburg bike fest wanted something close to downtown but far enough away so we could come home and rest and it was just that! It was a home away from home! We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely rent it again.

Very cozy and clean. Had everything we needed plus extras. Walking distance to downtown Tavares and lake. We hope to stay again next time we visit our daughter.
