Just needed a place to spend the night while we visited our son. Close by and fit our needs. Cute little cottage for anyone who wanted to get away and needed all amenities of laundry, grilling, cooking, playing games, etc.

This place has thought of everything. From extra towels and bathroom items (i.e shampoo, conditioner, hair drier, etc) to coffee and filters for the coffee pot. The kitchen is fully stocked with salt and pepper to foil and zip locks. They have books to read and puzzles and games for a relaxing night in. We have stayed multiple times and will return again.

We had a great experience. The place was nice and quiet. We were worried about noise from the nearby high school but we never heard anything. Highly recommend to anyone tired of the hotel stays. Renningers flea market is only 15 minutes down the road.

The place is nice, clean and comfortable. The hosts have ensured we had everything needed for our stay. The property is near my parents house, so it is now our go to place when we come visit.

Quick but worth it

This was our second time coming to stay at this property and we will definitely be returning everytime we come to Florida if possible. We didn't stay for many days but it was fun and peaceful regardless. Kinda wish we stayed longer simply because of how homey it feels to stay at this property. Bill and Betty are great hosts and have everything you need for your stay.

My wife and I, along with our two boys moved to Florida from Upstate NY in 1983 and bought this home in 1984. Besides the main house, where we now reside as empty nesters, there is one upstairs apartment and the cottage. My wife's mother and father lived in the cottage until her dad passed away and her mother moved into an ALF in 2014, which left the cottage empty. We have had the apartment completely remodeled which is now being offered as a vacation rental.

We're located on a quiet street that is walking distance to the downtown area and it's many restaurants and activities. A short drive and you're in Mount Dora, Eustis, Leesburg and The Villages. We're aprox. an hour drive to all the Orlando attractions and Daytona Beach.

The area has that small town feeling, but an easy drive to all that Central Florida has to offer.
