This luxury apartment has it all with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, 42" soft close cabinets, island with 4 barstools, 9' ceilings, luxury vinyl plank flooring in main living areas, ceiling fans, fully electric A/C and heat, and a washer and dryer. The Primary bedroom has a Queen bed, big closet, and ensuite luxury bathroom with spa shower. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed. Enjoy evening drinks on your private balcony with additional storage space, overlooking Ute Valley Park. The outdoor enthusiast will love this location with Ute Valley Park only .4 miles from back door, Mountain Shadows Open Space only 600 ft from front door, and the famous Garden of the Gods Park not even 3 miles away. Bring your Mountain Bike and take off. All utilities and Wi-Fi included in rent. Furry Friends Welcomed.

Not what I booked

The apartment was fine, but it wasn't the one I booked in April for a stay in August. When I checked in the apartment was switched for a different one. The major complaint about the apartment was the A/C units were noisy. Loud popping in the middle of the night.

Perfect unit- not great communication

I received the checkin or checkout info in a very untimely and unprofessional manner. I arrived to the city before I had ever received any word. I had to reach out to the owner for check-in information and I didn’t get it for over an hour. So in the meantime, I called VRBO main office and then they canceled my reservation because they couldn’t get a hold of the owner either. This was a 10 at night and my check-in was supposed to be at four in the afternoon. I finally received the check-in info but only through a text message… She never use the Vrbo app to communicate with me. I also only got the minimum amount of information by text… I never received a professional list of check-in or checkout instructions. Upon checkout, I had already loaded my car and was leaving before she texted me that I was supposed to strip the beds and remove the trash from the unit. I didn’t even know where to dispose the trash because I never received any kind of formal instructions about the house… Nothing about the Wi-Fi, where things are located or any welcome information. I gave it three stars, however, because the unit itself was in pristine condition and very comfortable for our stay. But the first two hours of not being able to get into the unit and having to have a huge hassle with VRBO put a big damper on our first evening But the unit was a great value, location and safe neighborhood.

My dad was Army, my husband was Air Force, so I have lived all over the world. I love traveling, hiking 14ers, skiing, and spending time with my 5 wonderful children, daughter-in-law, and Grandson.

We love sitting on our patio in the evening and overlooking Mountain Shadows Open Space.

Proximity to Major Attractions and Natural Beauty:

The coveted West side of Colorado Springs offers the serenity of nature as it is surrounded by stunning parks including the famous Garden of the Gods, the versatile Ute Valley Park and beautiful Blodget Peak, to name a few. Nature lovers will be delighted to know that these parks are less than 5 minutes away and Ute Valley Park is less than .4 miles away from your front door! Our favorite park to visit is Ute Valley Park because you will see bikers, hikers, climbers, and runners all in one park! Mountain Shadows Open Space backs up to the Villas at Mountain Shadows' neighborhood. We enjoy sitting on the balcony overlooking the Open Space, taking leisurely walks with our dogs through the Open Space, and going for a morning job to start our day on the right foot.

Safety and Convenience:

We’ve also chosen this neighborhood because of its reputation for safety and convenience. You can explore the area with peace of mind and essential amenities are a short distance away on Vindicator, and Garden of the Gods road.
