Two private balconies and a covered patio come furnished for breezy outdoor leisure. Just a short drive away, spend a day at The Track - Destin, enjoying go-kart racing, mini-golf, and thrilling rides. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Emerald Bay Golf Club, where you can tee off against a backdrop of stunning coastal views. With retail shops and dining options within walking distance, you'll have everything you need right at your fingertips.

The home's three-story interior offers tasteful coastal decor and plenty of room to spread out. Features include two separate living spaces to kick back with some cable TV. You'll also find a handy wet bar/coffee nook along with a full, well-equipped kitchen. Additional perks include central air-conditioning and a private washer/dryer to keep you feeling your best.

Things to Know

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Upon arrival, one of the bedrooms bed had dirty linens on the floor and a dirty half on the bed and the mattress was visible.. One room had bed bugs and pics were sent and I was told that the next day I would hear from the renter and hadn’t heard anything. Other than those two incidents it was ok.. But those were 2 big incidents and I haven’t heard anything from the renter.

Pros: -The pool right across the street from the front door was great with a ton of space and never felt overly crowded. Great water features and a fun vibe, plus a hot tub. Cons: -House could have been much more clean (our feet turned black just from walking around inside so definitely needs better mopping). - The beach is NOT an 8 minute walk from the house as mentioned in the listing; it’s closer to 15 and longer with kids/all your beach gear. -(There is a shuttle service from the property that we learned about later and started using after the first day so maybe we missed that but it didn’t seem well advertised.) -A couple of the tvs didn’t have any batteries in the remotes so they couldn’t be used. -The third floor shower wasn’t working when we arrived, the handle was loose so we couldn’t turn the water on and we had to report it to be fixed the first night. -The house seems to have some maintenance issues in general because later the sewage backed up and overflowed on the ground floor. We had to move houses on our last night which was not ideal. Overall, we would not stay here again because of all the issues and the distance from the beach. For the price, we didn’t expect to report so many problems. Vacasa, the vacation rental company that manages this home, did act quickly whenever we reported issues but ultimately, if they paid closer attention to detail before we arrived and maintained the house a bit better, these issues could have been prevented.

The inconveniences kept coming

Initially on check in everything was great, we noticed a few dead roaches but understandable since it’s Florida. We had a snafu with the second floor bathroom not understanding the shower mechanism. But that was easily answered and explained, the third floor bedroom light blew out as well. Fast forward to Saturday night/early Sunday morning about 12 am we left out for dinner to site see and had an issue with the door it locked us out. We called the help desk and the assistance was awful no resolution was ever provided we just kept trying to pin for 2 hours. The tech did come the next morning and changed the battery but after that whenever we left the door didn’t lock. Other than the stay was pleasant and accommodated our group well. The location was 10/10, the shared pool was amazing as well! Just wish the customer service was more reliable

Lovely vacation home in Destin

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and we wish we stayed longer. It is great for a big group and provides all guests privacy. It is right next to the swimming pool as well and extra street parking. I would definitely book this place again.

Great stay for a mini vacation

Our group rented in the area for the second time and overall the stay was great. The amenities were exactly what we were looking for and the kids had a great time. There were some items that were lacking in the home. The floor felt sticky upon arrival and the trash bin wasn't taken so the garage piled up while we were there. Wifi is spotty on the top level but it wasn't too bad. We had one room that didn't cool as well but the AC was overall very cold through the home. Other than that we would recommend the home and would book again.

Family Beach Bash

Very roomy, quiet nights, easy access to drive to the beach, plenty of nice restaurants, grocery store choices, kid activities, all within reasonable driving distances; beautiful pool right across from the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our family beach trip to Destin and staying at this Waterdog II rental!

Great Stay

Enjoy this stay from beginning to end. House is spacious three levels. Love the middle level with the extra den space it would be perfect for a family with kids so they can have their own space. For the money not worth it.

Over all our stay was OK. Would I book here again? No. we actually ended booking a different property and leaving a few days early. For the price per night definitely look elsewhere. What was available in the kitchen was the worse I have ever stayed in. So many basic things either missing or not provided. Had to ask for a dust pan. that was such a hassle I didn’t bother asking for a spatula. Master bath shower head leaked and sprayed you in the face (very small shower) There was a high chair and a portable crib at the property but told there wasn’t, so we arranged to rent them. Waste of money. The pool was nice but a lot of really dumb rules and pool attendants that the stroll the pool and yell at kids all day long. (like can’t throw a water football) The house had plenty of space and that’s about all it has going for it. I think the owners need to find new property mangers.

Great house for multiple families

The place was great for multiple families! Nice and clean. Right across from the pool. From about 10-3 the pool has someone on duty. The only thing she was strict with is no ball throwing. We did have this squishy toy that was allowed so the kids could throw it around. Beach is within 3 blocks and the wagon and beach chairs they had were a plus.
