This was great for our girls’ trip. The deck and hot tub were spaces where we relaxed and talked. Our host was helpful when we lost electricity for 4 hours after a storm. We liked the close proximity to town where we boarded the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad and found places to eat. It was an enjoyable stay.

The house was a great three-level plan. Two gathering areas were quite nice for eating at kitchen bar/kitchen on mid level. There was a large coffee bar on lowest level with high top table for game-playing. (There was a nice variety of games there for us to play.). I cannot think of one item we needed that webwere unable find in kitchen or coffee bar on mid level. We spent most of our time in Bryson City and commute was close, simple and convenient. There was an Ingles Grocery Store and Dollar General on way into Bryson City. It felt like we were remote but were very near Bryson City. We were also located very near highways we took to mountain drives in search of Waterfalls. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN!!

The property is great, and the hosts are spectacular! The location is incredibly convenient—about 5 minutes from downtown Bryson City and 15 minutes from Nantahala National Forest—so you have easy access to tons of things to do.The hosts really go above and beyond, both with communication and with making the house feel completely turnkey. There are so many thoughtful touches: hair ties, shampoo, tampons, etc. in the bathrooms; laundry detergent; coffee in the butler’s pantry; and tons of games for the family to play. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making guests comfortable.Overall, we highly recommend the property! Two things worth noting for future guests: Because the house is so close to Bryson City, there isn’t walking or hiking immediately accessible from the property itself. Definitely not a dealbreaker, but it was a bit of a surprise to us. Also, directly across the railroad tracks and visible from the house is a FedEx distribution center, which has lights on throughout the night.Neither of those things took away from us having a great stay, but they’re worth knowing depending on what you’re looking for. Overall, a wonderful property with truly exceptional hosts!

Great location to the train

We booked this property as we were looking for one that was close to the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad for The Polar Express. It was less than a 10 minute drive. The property was well stocked, clean, new and the host was amazing to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an exceptional VRBO and it impressed us around every corner. We have promoted it to everyone we know! The hosts were very communicative, the house was clean and orderly, well decorated, the stay was filled with thoughtfulness down to crafts for the children and coffee and sheets/towels/shampoo. We could not have been happier and plan to return!

We’re Wayne (the Canadian) and Cynthia (the Southern girl)! We may call Atlanta home, but Bryson City quickly became our favorite escape. At RnR Ridge, we love sharing the little things that make this spot special — waving at the train from the deck, soaking in the hot tub, and being just minutes from downtown adventures. We want every guest to feel like they’re staying with friends, not just booking a house.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We first came to Bryson City looking for a little mountain escape and quickly fell in love with its charm. It has just the right mix of small-town friendliness, stunning Smoky Mountain views, and endless things to do — from tubing at Deep Creek to riding the train downtown. For us, it’s the kind of place where you can slow down, make memories, and still be close to all the adventures that make the Smokies so special. That’s why we built RnR Ridge here ... to share the spot that stole our hearts with others who are looking for the same.

この宿泊施設の特徴

RnR Ridge is a rare find in Bryson City — a brand-new 3BR/3BA home (built in 2023) with three decks, year-round Smoky Mountain views, and even train sightings from the porch. Just 3 miles from downtown, it’s in a quiet neighborhood that’s both peaceful and convenient. After exploring Deep Creek, NOC, Cherokee, or Fontana Lake, relax in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit. Fresh, modern, and full of charm ... RnR Ridge is your Smoky Mountain getaway.
