This was our second stay and we're so glad we could come back to this beautiful lakefront oasis! Erika was very accommodating and it felt like coming home. We love the seclusion, peace, and quiet while being surrounded by nature within a convenient distance to Manistique.

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view of the water! It had everything we needed. Loved spending time on the front porch watching the sunrise, reading and unplugging from the world to soak in nature and peacefulness. It was a perfect getaway. Pet friendly too!!

Awesome little cabin. Very clean, easy check-in, comfortable beds, amazing yard amd beach. Cute little town, we stayed 3 nights and found plenty of things to do.They had everything we needed.

The home was very nice and the lake views from the porch and the fire pit are fantastic. It’s a very quiet area and easy to get to so many great spots in the UP.

An employee of our company stayed at the house while in the area for work. He said it was a great house in a beautiful location. It was a great place for him to relax after a long day at work.

Very nice property and beach! We really enjoyed our stay. We did leave behind a fan for future guests as we were there during a pretty warm period without much breeze from the lake. Nice and peaceful.Thank you for hosting us!

Very peaceful and relaxing

The only negatives were no AC and tv/vcr did not work. We were outside almost the whole trip and the view and beach were beautiful. Very dog friendly as well. We would absolutely stay here again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. You are correct no AC but the breeze off the water keeps things very comfortable. We do have a dvd player and a selection of movies on site for your enjoyment. Think of us again for your next getaway!!

The most relaxing time

We had an amazing time and we’re able to relax for the first time in what seemed like forever. The cabin was perfect and the view was mesmerizing. Will absolutely book again next time we go to the UP

We had such a peaceful, relaxing stay! Being surrounded by nature and having the comfort of the cabin was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful, as was the cabin itself. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked. Check-in was easy and Erika was responsive to communications when I had a couple little questions. The outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs were great, and we loved the boardwalk and quiet beach. So glad this stay was dog-friendly! Would stay again.

Very clean and cute cabin. Quiet and private location. The water was calm but very rocky so bring water shoes! Bring lots of bug spray too…. Mid July the black flies were bad… we could only swim 1 out of the 3 days we were there because they were swarming. No a/c which was totally fine except the day that was 87. The windows being open the rest of the time was perfectly fine - good screens kept small bugs out. We only used the master bedroom - it was spacious and very comfortable. The screen mirroring for the tv did not work but we made due with some great DVD movies that the host supplied. No WiFi available but cellular worked completely fine. If you’re looking for a pet friendly remote U.P. getaway this is a nice choice.

What a great place! We arrived just at sunset on a chilly evening and the place was cozy & warm. Really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace - especially because it was cold, cloudy, windy, and rainy. Just hung out and read books. When the sun came out we were able to walk on the beach and also the road is a nice stroll. Would definitely recommend.

A Quiet, Hidden Retreat

The Cadieux Cabin is truly a retreat for rest, relaxation, and reconnection. The property is well-managed, the cabin is clean, beautifully decorated, and situated on Lake Michigan with stunning views. We loved hearing all the animals, walking on the beach, and feeling a world away from the usual routine. Erika was a pleasure to work with, and we appreciate her sharing this experience with us—an excellent place for young families looking to enjoy the best of Pure Michigan.

Beautiful stay by the lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Located down a dirt road, this house is right on the beach in a private setting. The house is beautifully appointed and the view of the lake is magnificent. We walked the beach many times and only saw other people a few times. There are other properties along this beach, but the trees make it feel very secluded. Still, it is not a long drive to get to Manistique where there is good shopping and restaurants. If you have never been to Garden Peninsula, you are in for a treat and this property is a fantastic way to enjoy the area.
