This condo is lovely! Gorgeous views, well-stocked, beautifully decorated, and perfect accommodations for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Having a reserved parking space was HUGE, as the parking garage is very full, and the overflow parking is a few blocks away. Allison, the owner, was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly. She also helped me resolve an issue after we checked out. The only thing that could be upgraded with this specific unit is the WiFi. We had an adequate signal in the bedrooms, but almost nothing in the rest of the unit.
As others have mentioned in their reviews, the parking garage is VERY tight, and one evening it took us over 30 minutes to exit the garage from the 4th floor. Considering it is peak vacation season, the resort was very full, and elevators were hard to come by. (I actually never took one.) Multiple times during the week, the elevators were broken or stuck in between floors since they were overpacked. I would not recommend staying here if anyone in your group is incapable of going up and down 5 flights of stairs as the elevators are just too unpredictable. (Unit is on 9th floor, parking spot on 4th.)
It was quite noisy at night. The balcony doors actually block out most of the noise (loud music from other guests, whooping and hollering across the resort, etc), but the noise at the back of the unit (in the bedrooms) from the street was very loud until after midnight almost every night. Traffic in this part of town is also very slow-moving.
If I were rating Allison’s unit specifically, I would give it five stars because it truly is lovely, and all of my complaints are things that are out of her control. If I’m coming back to this part of PCB in the off-season, I would consider staying here again. But during peak time, I will probably look to stay a little further out in a quieter, less congested area.
