Come and enjoy this Saltbox Style Retreat located on Gould Pond in the quiet & friendly Emerald Lake Community. Lake is limited to boaters (<10hp engines) and open for avid kayakers, canoeing and paddle boarders. 2 minute walk to the Emerald Lake Beach area where there’s a fun kids playground and picnic area.
Leaf peeping in the fall? Hit Antique Alley located along Route 4, the old highway that connects the seaport city of Portsmouth to the capital city of Concord.
In the winter come and enjoy ice fishing & ice skating, bring your sleds for the many trails maintained by http://www.nightridersnh.org/.
The property is close to 3 Top Rated Ski Resorts in Southern New Hampshire (Pat’s Peak, Crotched Mountain and Mount Sunapee).
Anytime of year you can find many activities to do while staying at this 4 season Country house. Or just sit and relax and enjoy the view from checkered chairs or 7’ Ash Wood Farmhouse table. Small dogs are welcome 🐾.

Swim and use the water sports equipment at your own risk, no life guards are on or implied to be on duty/in the area. Adult and children’s life vests are provided and located in the shed. The exterior of the property is monitored by security cameras for the protection and safety of the guets and property. EV owners: Hillsborough Ford is installing several 3DC Fast Chargers (CCS Connector currently). Tesla owners will need the adapter as Ford will be adapting the NACS connectors in 2025. Tesla Superchargers are located at 515 Canal St Brattleboro, VT and 11 Merchants Way Concord, NH:)

This is our 2nd stay at the lake house. Everything about this house is just perfect. It has everything you need and more, just pack your clothes and enjoy! It’s a very peaceful place to just relax and enjoy the lake and scenery. Tim who is the host is very personable and communication is great! We will definitely be returning!

Nice quiet location, great beach 2-3 minutes walk. Clean rooms, Air Conditioner is a great "" in August. Host Timothy responded any requests and questions very promptly. I would stay there again

We had an amazing time at Tim’s property. Everything was clean and there were lots of amenities like a keurig, air fryer and crock pot. Beach towels were on site and the kids loved the local beach with floating platform for cannon balls and other fun. We saw a bunch of wildlife! Beautiful, quiet location. Can’t wait to come back!

Family Fun Week

We all had an excellent time at Tim’s house. Kitchen and dining area were great for dinners together and the view is lovely. Although it hit 90 degrees and was very humid a few days it was always comfortable inside the house. Enjoyed the water toys, deck area and the close beach. Tim was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend.

4th of July weekend stay

This house on the pond was exactly what my family needed for a getaway. Very quiet neighborhood, fishing, kayaking, my kids tried paddle boarding. And the beach down the street was awesome! Our host Tim was very accommodating and always available to answer questions. Thanks so much!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay! The house was lovely and well stocked with essentials. Our host communicated above and beyond with us and We felt at home and enjoyed every minute of it. Even though we went during a cooler time, we absolutely recommend staying here anytime of the year, because I’m sure it’s even better in the summertime. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Pond Paradise

Great location for a relaxing getaway with easy day trips to Kancamagus Hwy (gorgeous fall colors). We really enjoyed kayaking, and camp fire by the lake. We'll be back.

A Perfect Family Getaway in New Hampshire We recently stayed at this charming home in New Hampshire, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family. The serene lake setting provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable vacation. We introduced our 2-year-old to the joys of fishing, and it was wonderful watching her excitement as she learned something new. The home’s location by the lake made it easy for us to enjoy various water activities. We spent a relaxing afternoon doing a "paint and vino" session right by the water, and our little one had a blast kayaking, paddle boarding, and exploring in the adorable rowboat—her first time ever! The peace and tranquility of the lake made our stay exceptionally calming. The home itself was well-equipped with everything we needed and was impeccably maintained. Our host was incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring that all our needs were met. Great house

The house was great. It is on a little cove just off of the main lake. There are some smaller beaches on the lake that my kids liked as well as a swing set right up the road. Tim was a very responsive host. It is in a fairly isolated region of the state. There isn't much in the surrounding towns but there are a few spots to check out. But if you want to have a staycation at a cute lake house, relax, and not see many people, this is a great option.

Quiet Relaxing Family Getaway

Family enjoyed access to pond and the kayaks. We brought fishing gear and caught some small fish. Cooking supplies and bbq sufficient to make family meals. Overall I recommend.

Wonderful!

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our morning walks around the lake, reading outside in the hammock, and using a variety of boats. Highly recommend!

Great Location!

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend of board games in mid-July. Great place to chill, be on the lake, and enjoy the scenery! We used the paddle boards to explore the lake and I really enjoyed relaxing in the hammock overlooking the water. Tim was great and very responsive!

Cozy house on a quiet lake

Our family of 4 enjoyed a nice stay in July. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a big gas grill. Note that there are AC units in the two bedrooms, but none downstairs. Even though it was hot - close to 90 degrees, the downstairs wasn't uncomfortable, and we enjoyed having the windows open. But if you are a person who loves AC, it may be too warm. We loved going out in the kayaks, paddleboards, and even a rowboat. There is a hammock in the yard. The house is on a smaller section off of the main pond, and it is quiet. The only thing we would have preferred is to be able to swim right from the dock. While we could swim from the dock, it was relatively shallow - no jumping off the small dock - and the bottom was a little mucky. So we preferred paddling to the nearby docks in the main section of the pond where there were sandy beaches. Water was warm in July. No problems with bugs when sitting around the firepit in the evening. And in mid July, there is a summer festival in Hillsborough.

Perfect for a fall getaway!

This house was perfect. It was clean, and well equipped. Beautiful location. We found so many nearby fall activities. And the foliage was peaking, everywhere was beautiful. The Intervale Pancake House next to Pats Peak has a great breakfast. Hikes in Fox Forest. I enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning with my coffee and the evening with my wine. If you’re looking for a not too far fall getaway, this place is what you want! Thank you Tim!

One of the best retails we had

This was by far one of the best houses we ever rented. The perfect location on the lake, sparkling clean house with updated kitchen utensils, new washing machine, all stuff you may need and nothing of what you won't need. We had a great stay in this house and will definitely want to get back. Thank you, Tim and the housekeeper for this experience.

Nice getaway place

The house is very nice. It's not too cluttered with decorations so you can move in and feel like its your place. It is well furnished and has all the little things you might forget (even a ground anchor for a dog run!). The back yard is nice and there is plenty of seating to dine outdoors or sit around a fire in the evening. The fishing is great as my two boys pulled in a dozen fish from the dock. The paddleboard and kayaks kept the kids busy. The neighborhood is pleasant and the community beach is close by. We would look for this place again because it was a great rental. Our host, Tim is great and has local resources to handle any issues. This is a nice getaway place and is perfect for a small family. It is one of the best rental houses that we have stayed in while vacationing in New Hampshire.

Mother/daughter getaway

We were looking for a quiet retreat and this is exactly that. The home is as advertised, super clean, and actually better in person. We enjoyed the row boat and kayaks, along with the hammock and evening fires. It’s a peaceful spot on the lake and the neighbors are friendly. Tim is a great host and was easy to communicate with from the get go! Overall great stay!

AMAZING!
