About this space
Welcome to Driftwood Cottage! A private 3 BR, 2.5 bath home which sits on a 1/2 acre lot with a water view in the heart Sneads Ferry. 1/2 mile from Riverview Cafe and NC Wildlife Boat Ramp. 10 min to N. Topsail Beach and MCB Camp Lejeune. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom amenities (trial size starters), towels and linens, WiFi, and HD TV's. Outside areas to relax next to a campfire in Adirondack chairs, on the large, covered back porch, or by the furnished charcoal grill. Enjoy!
The space
The Driftwood Cottage is a 2 story, 3 BR, 2.5 Bath home on a 1/2 acre lot directly across the street from New River. It has fresh paint and furnishings throughout and is well equipped for your convenience and comfort.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire house and 1/2 acre, with the exception of the outdoor shed and tractor located in the far corner.
Other things to note
Although there is no direct access to New River from the house, there is plenty of room to park your boat and the NC Wildlife Boat Ramp is 1/2 mile down the street.

Lovely home for families with kids

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home! We felt right at home and wish we could've stayed longer. You can tell the owners work hard to make this a clean and comfortable home for guests. We appreciate the large and small touches to make this a special stay. We hope to return again in the near future!

Family vacation

Our family traveled from Strawberry Plains TN, to Sneads Ferry to celebrate our granddaughter's 9th birthday. Driftwood Cottage was perfect. It was just a short drive to restaurants, a grocery store, and to Topsail Island. Our host was awesome and quick to respond when we had questions. We will book this cottage again for a family vacation.

The hosts thought of everything, and were absolutely amazing! My brother accidentally left something sentimental behind, and they were quick to respond and shipped it to him Thank you!! The house was clean, cozy, and had that inviting warm, comfortable, family feel that made you feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely rent again when we visit NC again!

This home was the perfect home away from home! The attention to details, the cozy and quiet neighborhood, the friendly people made this a vacation to remember. The location being near Camp Lejeune was perfect for visiting our Marine.

Great Stay

Driftwood Cottage was so comfortable! Don and Tasha made sure that everything we could possibly need was supplied. Communication was great. We had some internet problems and Don came right over and took care of it for us. We would highly recommend a stay at Driftwood Cottage!

Perfect Family Getaway!

Beautiful, comfortable house that immediately makes you feel at home. Loved the back porch seating area overlooking the quiet backyard - perfect for a morning coffee. Don and Tasha have thought of everything - games for the family, fire pit area, grilling, and beautiful decor inside and out. Beds were very comfortable and Don and Tasha are in the neighborhood for any needs that come up during your stay. Exactly what we needed for this trip!

Quiet peaceful cottage

The cottage is located in a cute, quiet, quaint little town very close to Camp Lejeune, beaches, and one of the best sea food restaurants you'll ever eat at. It was very peaceful. Don and Tasha are the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We had an unfortunate circumstance of my car breaking down while there. Long story short they were very accomidating and even offered to give us a ride to town to get supplies if needed. I have too much pride to take anyone up on that but just knowing the option and offer was there was enough to help allow me to enjoy the time I had with my Marine.

From the onset, communication was excellent and very helpful. This property is better than the pictures and description. We enjoyed our stay very much. Mattresses were excellent and bedding was so comfortable - we all slept very well. The kitchen is the best appointed we have ever had with extra supplies and utensils to be able to cook real meals. The living room and dining room table have adequate seating to support everyone, which is a rarity. We spent the mornings on one porch rocking, and the evenings on the other listening to the evening in the lovely, quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the many touches of beauty and hospitality throughout the house, especially an organized binder with everything we needed about the house, restaurants, and things to do. Supplies were also more well stocked than average as well. They have done a wonderful job of anticipating guest needs. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer at this beautiful property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property was bigger than expected! It was clean and the owners were checking in to make sure everything was up to expectations. It was a bit confusing to find as the house number isn't on the street that the address is associated with, but is towards the back of the property - once we found it, super simple and great place to stay!

Quaint property in very unique setting

Cute and cozy house near the water. Wonderful seafood restaurants and markets very nearby. Big back porch and very nice outdoor areas that we unfortunately didn't get to use because it rained our entire stay. The owners were quick to reply to any questions. The special extra touches inside were great. The kitchen was very well supplied. The bedrooms and living/dining areas were very spacious as were the closets. I would highly ecommend this property.

Home away from home

Don and Tasha definitly provided and beautiful home for a relaxing weekend. They provided all the immunities we needed and extra...i.e. little treat and water for us. After a long day of fun with friend of the boat, the kids were able to relax and watch a movie while the adults relaxed outside on porch. They even had a BBQ setbup but we didnt get the opportunity to use it. Don even stopped by they next day to say hello and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and told us to enjoy our stay and not to hesitate to contact them if we had any questions. This was visit definitely made it feel like home away from home.

I have done weekly rentals before and this by far is the one that has provided above and beyond the rest. The check in process was expedient and simple. All communication with the host was responded to quickly.The entire home was very clean, beautifully decorated and impressive. So much provided:All kitchen needs (dishwashing soap, dish towels, sponges, washcloths, dishes, pots, pans, glasses, grilling utensils and the list goes on). There was also a welcome tray of snacks and bottles of water in the refrigerator. All appliances appeared new. Each bathroom contained travel shampoos, soaps, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste and hair dryers. All linens-washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, bath mats, sheets and pillow cases were of all great quality; soft and plush. Additionally provided were all laundry needs.There is a covered porch in the back with a slider attaching the master bedroom on the main floor. There is comfortable seating, 2 fans and a light. The yard is perfect, kids could play while the grown ups can monitor while enjoying the swing, fire pit and outdoor dining.The front porch has 2 chairs and a table to sit and enjoy some quiet time.There are so many swim related items-sunscreen, beach towels, children’s swim vests, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella Books, games, Cornhole and more outside gamesEach shower has great water pressure and nice hot water. Truly…….home away from home.I would give 100/10 if Vrbo would let me.
