Big big yard! Boats welcome! Lake and springs near! This quiet, quaint cabin nestled in the back woods of the Ocala National forest is a great place to go swimming, walking on trails, bird watching and so much more! It's a quiet place down a well maintained dirt road. It's definitely a cabin like house similar to glamping. It has a window ac unit in main area and fans located in each room, shower outside of the home,and a kitchen with hot plates,electric frying pan, and other electric cookware to cook with, a full size fridge and grill outside! Enjoy grilling outside while you watch your family around the campfire. Salt Springs Recreation is near by for swimming , Silver glen and Lake Kerr is near for kayaking and boating. The yard is huge so bring your boat or kayaks!

I just really want to say I was really impressed with the woman who I interacted with over text message to help me get to the cabin gave me great directions was very prompt with her response the communication was amazing. Me and my family truly enjoyed staying here and look forward to coming back.

Daddy daughter spring hopping trip

Stayed two nights with my daughter and my friend and his daughter. Girls loved the cabin and spending the day at the nearby springs. The cabin is exactly as described with everything you need. Great dvd collection for adults and kids. Big property for kids to explore and adults to relax. Follow the directions from the owners and you will have no problem getting there. We will definitely book again.

Quiet, peaceful retreat. Exactly what I was looking for. Very clean

The cabin was rustic with a small kitchen area but it had all the necessities needed to prepare meals. It had a covered area with electricity for my boat and a large fenced yard. A great get away from tv and an opportunity to actually talk, play games and have fun with out modern day interference

Perfect Peace and Quiet

Lovely, rustic cabin with beautiful views, completely tucked away into a very quiet area. Friendly neighbors who were super willing to help. The cabin was clean, well kept, and I would recommend 10/10.

Peaceful

Very relaxing, this is a great get away place from all the hustle and bustle of every day life. Would highly recommend it. The host and owner were extremely helpful.

Nice quiet cabin for a get-away. Hope was welcoming and informative in her communications and Tom was very friendly, attentive and responsive. We'd like to go back in the future.

Great cabin to disconnect from the world

The first night we could not find the property because of bad gps directions, the owner was awesome she drove next day and escorted us there not Only that she went out of her way because of what happened to us. We grilled every night and used the fire pit .located close to the springs I would Say it’s the perfect get away for the outdoor lovers . Would visit again for sure !

GREAT LITTLE SPOT

I booked this last minute with only a couple days notice and I am glad I did. What a great little cabin. It is very rustic and very homely. I was told service was not great but I had ZERO service and I loved it. No messing with technology just enjoying our days sitting by the forest. Me and my lady sat by the fire pit every night and we grilled meats as well. Hope has the cabin very clean and stocked with everything you may need. We will definitely be booking again in the future!!

Off the Grid

Was in desperate need to get away and off the grid for a while. Work and just daily grind had reached a point where I needed some time away from everything and simply enjoy the forest and time walking trails with my dog Kona. The location is absolutely fantastic! Great fenced in lot with lots of room for Kona to explore within the fence then the trails surrounding the property. Slept like a baby. The accommodations were perfect for my needs and enjoyed the evenings at the fire pit cooking dinner. Would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a get away from the hustle of every day. This location was easy to find for me and not more than two hours from home. Met wonderful neighbor Thom who was more than helpful in suggesting locations to explore within the Ocala National Forest. Honestly, a place like this is what I dream about retiring too. So pack your gear and head to Olde Salt Spring Cabin, you will not be disappointed and will come out the other side a person who appreciates the little things and peace found in Ocala
